To find a planet like ours, there would need to be the right biosignatures and technosignatures (as mentioned) BUT surely the planet concerned would need a magnetic field to protect it from harmful radiation? The same lack of current technology also applies in biosignatures where detecting water and especially chlorophyll in planateary atmospheres would be a great way of sorting out habitable from inhabitable planets.
