After updating from MacOS Mojave 10.14.1 Beta 3 to Beta 5 (I'm a mac developer), BOINC would cause a Panic and crash my 2016 15" 2.9GHz MacBook Pro; before this I never had any problems with BOINC, SETI@home or Rossetta@home. Being a Beta version of the OS, I hoped that when Mojave became final, this would be fixed. Meanwhile, I removed BOINC from my "Startup Items" list so I could get work done. However, after installing the released version of Mojave 10.14.1 this week, the computer crashes instantly (to a black screen) when I start BOINC manually. All my other apps are running perfectly, so I have to assume this is a problem with BOINC itself. Any solutions, advice, etc.?

Hi.

I've had no problem with BOINC in 10.14.1 myself so far.

Mid-2017 iMac
BOINC 7.14.2
Have never run macOS Betas or Rosetta@home

Presumably you've done the usual system and disk health checks and tried reinstalling BOINC?
