Russian rethoric. Apparantly hitting Assad's chemical weapon facilities is an insult to the President of Russia. But Antonov. You have recently said that Assad have no chemical weapons. |

Anyway. Syrian air defense units had intercepted 71 cruise missiles out of the 103 launched, including all of the ones that had been fired at Dumayr military airport, located in the northeast of Damascus, according to the Russian Defense Ministry. https://youtu.be/mQZC7ulv-ao Some analyses from Sweden. There are two superpowers in place in Syria, Russia and the United States. But why are these giants so interested in the Middle East? Russia has clear military goals. They want to continue to have Syria as an ally in the region, where Russia has military bases. The political goal is to counteract what is viewed from the Russian side as a Western system. Russia does not want a new Afghanistan. But they are prepared to support Assad military and put a certain amount of soldiers on the ground. The Russians are probably not so worried, because they expect the US offensive is not to threaten the balance of power. Syria is closely lied with Iran, which is the enemy of the United States. A new regime in Syria would mean to the United States as a geopolitical gain. Trump's opinion support is probably not disturbed by a military operation of a limited nature. On the other hand, he has no support for entering heavy troops on the ground. Rhetoric has gone so far that neither Putin nor Trump can back without risking image loss. If you do something against Syria, you trying to target objectives where there are no Russian staff. There is no will, from American or Russian, to an escalation. What are the consequences? Russia has requested a crisis meeting in the Security Council, one does not agree with the guilt issue. Syria's allies mean that the chemical attack has not been carried out by Syria, while the United States and its allies firmly assert that it is the Assad regime underlying. The important thing now is to investigate the guilt issue, and that no other in the Syrian-led alliance comes with military intervention, that is, Russia or Iran. If that happens then we get a development that no one can predict the consequences of. |

Trump the Genius from Karlstad hails "perfectly executed" strikes on Syria after alleged chemical attack, concluding "Mission Accomplished". Such nonsense. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/985130802668294144 Adding the Russian take on the "perfectly executed" strikes: https://sputniknews.com/military/201804141063558487-syria-air-defense-forces-analysis/ Perhaps the most surprising news surrounding the US, British and French strike on Syria Saturday morning was the report that the country's Air Defense Force managed to shoot down just shy of 70% of the Western cruise missiles launched. Sputnik looks at how the Syrians managed to do it. |

Anyway. It's curious that the above link shows daylight strikes, when the actual strikes were during the very early morning Syria time (03:00 - 04:00), total darkness. Remember that both times that Cadet Bonespurs did announce strikes were during this same time period. If you had paid any attention, Cadet Bonespurs didn't do anything until he got approval from Faux News. Even though there was structural damage at both locations, due to the fact that our president, announced several days ago that strikes were coming, which allowed the Syrian government to evacuate most if not all of its personnel from those 2 locations. I wouldn't be surprised if all of the chemical agents was removed from the storage site. It would have been more effective if no previous announcement was made. Syrian air defenses are not that great, may have brought down some of the cruise missiles, but I doubt that it brought down 71 out of 103. The Syrian air defense system (S200) is primitive; it is the same system that was used in Vietnam. The S400 system, which is the current production Russian air defense system and very capable, is currently only used around the base(s) that have Russian military; which is/are in northern Syria. Where was the Syrian Air Force? It seems that they stayed on the ground after they moved to the Russian bases. As his world is collapsing around him, because of the Russia probe, he had to let off some steam and this was his way to do it. We should name this action as Desert Stormy!! I don't buy computers, I build them!! |

Hehe:) I'm surprised that no one noticed that the video is not from the strike last night. And it was not only cruise missiles but also Air-to- surface missiles among the 103 missiles. Both the text and the video are from Sputnik, Russian state-owned propaganda news outlet. I wouldn't be surprised if all of the chemical agents was removed from the storage site. It would have been more effective if no previous announcement was made.Me neither. Russia was told of the locations where the strike should take place long before it happened. As for personal I don't think there aren't so many in the buildings in the middle of night, strike or not. The only casualties in the strike is three wounded civilians near an army location. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, Syria repelled the Western attack with air defense systems made in the USSR over 30 years ago. "Syria's means of air defense: S-125, S-200 air defense systems, [as well as] Buk and Kvadrat units were used in the repelling the missile strike." You will see many more of this disinformation news, not only from Russia but from other Western nations as well. So take all news whatever the source with a pinch of salt. Some of the news are true, some are not. Oh. speaking of Desert Stormy. On Twitter there is now a storm, #OperationDesertStormy :) https://twitter.com/hashtag/OperationDesertStormy https://sputniknews.com/viral/201804141063563211-twitter-reacts-to-trump-mission-accomplished-tweet/ |

How the Syrian American Medical Society Is Selling Regime Change and Driving the U.S. to War Run it through Media Bias/Fact Check, and it gives us: Truthdig is a news website that provides a mix of long-form articles, interviews, and blog-like commentary on current events, delivered from a politically progressive point of view. Truthdig has a left wing bias in what they choose to report and the words they use, but the articles are generally well written and reasonably sourced. Truthdig won the Webby Award in 2013 for Best Political Site. Further, a factual search reveals they have not failed any fact checks. Overall, we rate Truthdig Left Biased and High for factual reporting. "Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Mrs May said she believed the strike action had been "the right thing to do" and was "absolutely in Britain's national interest". She said the UK government believed it was "clear" the Assad regime was responsible for the "despicable and barbaric" attack on civilians on 7 April. Evidence suggested a barrel bomb and a regime helicopter had been used, she added. "No other group could have carried out this attack."" May I suggest Madam that you STFU until you can provide "clear" evidence backed up by facts |

Evidence suggested a barrel bomb and a regime helicopter had been used, she added. "No other group could have carried out this attack."No other group? I believe and suggest Theresa need to get updated on what is really happening in Syria. Here is some alleged rebel group in Syria firing some rockets that alleged can contain barrel bombs. Home made barrel bombs can alleged contain chemical weapons. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lhkyAR0D_zU No need for a helicopter! And many home made bombs are delivered with home made "artillery" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kiLg2zAOY7U |

PEACE in MIDDLEast Comin' What? Because of Trump, the Genius from Karlstad? No. I say definitely NO! However this time when striking Syria he did something right. He hit some of the Assad's chemical facilities that maybe will reduce Syria's capability to produce chemical weapons for a couple of years. Maybe he have listened to some advisor. The few he haven't fired of course. But the civil war in Syria has now going on for EIGHT years. Anyway Trump is a lier. |

Rump's good buddy Putin who put Assad up to the chemical attack delivered on his promise to provide a diversion for Rump. er, buildings hit were scheduled for demolition and were empty. Perhaps when the Mueller investigation is allowed to run its course we might have an answer. I'm otherwise at a loss to see why the CIA/NSA community holds Rump is the light of a .... Or course as POTUS he is free to collude with his buddy Putin, we aren't in a state of declared war with Russia, so it isn't LEGAL treason but conducting the foreign policy of the USA. |

This is the same problem with Fat Boy Kim. Useless stupid blabbing meetings when the guilty are in front of us. The WW2 was not won by words. |
