Other than a Potato Rake, Weeder or general purpose farm tool I have no other ideas..
Could make a good back scratcher though..

We used them as a rack for corn Silage off the wagon .also helped brake up the ice in the Silage mow also.
lot of work.

My guess is "newfangled whatchamacallit multi-knob tool for ______"
