I want to know if anyone that reads this has any insight into running ODROID's to crunch SETI because I need some help getting it set up. I'm sort of a novice at Raspberry Pi and ODROID but I've been around computers most of my life and I've run Seti since 1999, have taken a break and now I want to get back into it .... but I want to put Seti on ODROID and need some advice. I'm wondering if I should use Ubantu or Android? Is one or the other more stable? Easier to setup? I've been Googling for days, but it just doesn't seem to be much reference material. Thanks for any help. We are all Alien. It just depends on which planet you are standing on. |

I run Armbian (https://www.armbian.com) on mine. I have trouble with Seti on it though. It seems to crash every few days regardless of which operating system I use. I run a bunch of Raspberry Pis and an Orange Pi One. They all work great. |

Yeah, I noticed all that too...I am not sure if it has something to do with needing a swap file or not Can someone try to compile all required dependencies directly into the binary? |
