I have been told that back after the 1989 Quake they installed and early alarm that the fire station doors automatic In San Francisco will open. 1989 the doors were jammed and play hell getting the trucks out. up to what distance away I don't know. |

well some day someone will come up the golden key.Same day someone will be able to predict when a given atom of radioactive stuff will decay. It would be great if can do away with it all together. |

Airlines on "red notice" as volcano fires hot ash skyward. Rumbling Mount Sinabung on the Indonesian island of Sumatra shot billowing columns of ash more than 16,400 feet into the atmosphere and hot clouds down its slopes on Monday. slowed down again with only M 5.3 - 214km E of Amahai, Indonesia 1 in the mid atlantic ridge of M 5.0 all the other 2.5+ to 4.0 which was a total of 33 |

Danville is East of San Francisco maybe 20 or so miles as the crow fly's.. Yes they were all close together. Was it last year TL when you got a bunch of them? Hard to call but we get about 2 dozen at week up here 13 miles away but at times it just shuts down. The one I worry about is when Cascadia lets go. hasn't done anything since Jan 26th 1700. |

Danville is East of San Francisco maybe 20 or so miles as the crow fly's.. I can't honestly remember if it was a year ago, or two years ago... Those were centered along Alcosta Blvd. in San Ramon, and did travel through towards my house... These new quakes are North of me, and are in Danville and Diablo... Danville is East of San Francisco maybe 20 or so miles as the crow fly's.. The also are trending NE by SW. That is 90 degrees to the known faults. Looks like something new.

who knows what the Gov. is up to Wiggo, I think most mining is done farther east of us near Nevada . But Mnt. Diablo , I spent a night up there in the 90's for the biggest star shower of my life, froze my butt off but it was worth it. |

I wasn't thinking anything about governments Grant, but over here the shakes that we do get are mostly caused by old mine workings collapsing in on themselves. Cheers. |
