On WU ID 3721 it is completed by 3 seperate systems, all with reasonably close CC but no granted credit. Did I miss something or is this actually a problem? http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah/workunit.php?wuid=3721 |

No, there is no problem. All results still have the valid state as initial, and this means that the validator hasn't gotten to it yet. Sometimes you will see a unit get validated as soon as you report it as returned, others can take days. |

Thanks. I knew that but I guess that it just didn't sink in for some reason. Maybe I should consider sleep? :-) |

And sometimes it never gets validated. In this last case, there is a bug that needs to be fixed. I have some pending from February. jm7 |

How do you know which credits weren't validated? I've had the same credit since I started... it seems that it granted me the credit on my very first download and hasn't updated it since. Even though all that work was uploaded and an entire new batch (3-5 days worth) has been downloaded and is churning away (some of it already done). |

You can look at your results list to see what has or hasn't been validated. As for the credit granting. Don't worry about it. It can take weeks for credit to be granted. |

And does that mean that as soon as something *actually* uploads (e.g. no longer appears in my results list saying "ready to report") that it has been validated? I'm getting confused. |

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, results must be validated in order to receive credit. When I said you could look at your results list to see what has been validated, I didn't mean everything in your results list is validated. Simply that this is where you can look to see what has/has not been validated. :) |

I thought you were referring to the results in the client on my machine... |

> You can look at your results list to see what has or hasn't been validated. And where is that? My completed results were under my "Work" tab. When I noticed that my "Projects" tab reported no credits, I right clicked and "Update"d. Now I see no completed work under the "Work" tab and my "Projects" tab still reports noting completed. It seems the "Projects" tab should at least report unverified completed work. |

I hope that the database queries will be fixed so that we can have this functionality back. ![]() |
