The web site shows the IP addresses of the computers. Does this pose a security threat?

It only displays the IP addresses of your computers to YOU :)

Try to get information on some other user's IP addresses and you will discover you cannot.

You can see the name, benchmark, # of WUs processed by others computers but not their IP addreses. And others, likewise, cannot view your IPs.
