A theory , speculation or supposition is of little use to science if it cannot be tested to be true or falsified.

How would we verify the existence of many universes.

BAH Humbug !!

Hehe:)
In the quantum world these phenom's happens all the time.
Double split experiment for instance.
Since the universe that we are part of surely we will experience something like it.
Rather tricky though since scientist has still to reunificate Newton's and Einstein's work.

This Swedish guy sounds totally weird, and yet a professor?? My own theory is of course just as unprovable, and is only put forward as a thought provoking exercise.

Sigh...
He is a professor at MIT.
Do you know what MIT is?
I guess not.

Oh He have met Hugh Everett's son, another "believer" of parallel universes.

Seattle is an hour ferry boat ride east of me, but Poulsbo is 15 min drive north.

Well scientists believe they may have discovered evidence of a parallel universe that crashed into our own in a galactic impact mirroring a car crash.

Cheers.

Ain't that just a slight " re - jigging of " M " theory ? seams basicly the same idea just with a slight slant on how it's written .
Even if it is it's unprovable at our current tech levels and probably stay that way for centuys
Life is what you make of it :-)

Not to me:)
Off topic?
Not really.
Nobel laureates loves the Nobel dinner after the prize ceremony.

But I don't think Norwegians eat so much meatballs.

Well it certainly isn't our one that is for sure!!!

No but the Norwegians allowed a few Swedes to live in Poulsbo and they eat Swedish meatballs.

So there is a parallel universe after all that collided:)
As a reminder of the city's early Scandinavian immigrants, downtown Poulsbo maintains a Scandinavian theme and is a popular regional tourist destination. One of its local products is now available worldwide, Poulsbo Bread, originally made in the local bakery.

Really:)
There are not so many who likes lutefisk regardless of nations.
We live in a small world and it is not a parallel universe.
Sami view.

I dont think there are any evidences of parallel universes.
But for now it's three hypothesis.
The most weird is the third.
The original relative state formulation is due to Hugh Everett III in 1957.

Nah. Erwin Schrödinger have explained it to me.

Scientists Discover Possible First Proof of Parallel Universes

A new study about one of the most inexplicable places in the cosmos may offer the first proof that we are living in a multiverse.

The idea of a “multiverse” proposes that an infinite amount of universes, including the one we are living in, exist in parallel to each other.
These universes differ in a variety of physical properties, featuring multiple Big Bangs, space bubbles and maybe even an alternate version of you who is reading this article in a world run by slugs. The “multiverse” hypothesis has been so far been impossible to test but has supporters among such scientists as Stephen Hawking, Michio Kaku, Neil deGrasse Tyson and Leonard Susskind.

I wonder how many cold spots we have in this universe?
