FREEDOM of SPEECH is a cruel hoax when willing audiences are denied their right to receive the speech by ideologues, zealots and other sickly obsessed control freaks. Anyone, everyone who participates in a riot to block public discourse should be eligible for prosecution for violating the Constitutional rights of the meeting participants, and civil suit for emotional pain and suffering. What does the landlord do when the tenant is going to have a special event and the landlord is seeing dozens of posts on social media that groups who are guests of this special event are going to riot and damage his property? Groups such as The Oath Keepers, the Proud Boys are lighting up social media with posts calling for civil unrest and inciting riots by their followers. Does the landlord let it happen, or does he shut it down?

or does the landlord realize he's being played by the other side and make an intelligent decision that requires some guts? The base of the injustice here is their unwillingness to support EVERYBODY's special event. isn't it. I'm sorry...I'm still under the misaprehension a 3 digit IQ and a touch of ethical behavior is indicated for people making a living on the public dime. Taking whatever supports the agenda you've been pursuing at face value verses questioning everything else fails the 'intellectual honesty' odor test. Just read the message from Eric and I must say that I am very disappointed to see him use this opportunity to get in what seems like a very cheap political shot by characterizing those who wish to exercise their right to speak as "white supremacists". Am I missing something? Is there some news I haven't heard? Just what group is he referring to? Is there some clearly defined "white supremacist" group or simply someone who doesn't follow the intolerant, closed minded leftwing politics that defines Berkeley today?
