Maybe this has been asked before. But it would be great for me to get a daily short email of work in progress, completed, validated, etc. I do not log into the SETI computer or the website everyday and it would be great to know stuff is running and being completed just by checking my email on my smart phone each day.

SETI would have to prepare and send about 150,000 emails every day. This would put the project in danger of arriving on the "spam lists" of many ISPs, and not everyone uses their real email address, thus there would be a fair number of "bounce" responses to manage.
