My hero., Les Paul I have a lot of stories about him and my father. And my involvement with Les. Maybe I will have the strength to tell you some of them one day. For now, I am in much pain over my father's death and will be for some time. Please forgive me for my lack of response............ I have way more invested here that any of you realize. Hadn't heard "In Spite of Ourselves" before. Naughty but fun and very playfull. :) Something nice to the ear about American acoustic folk style duets. (To my UK ear at least.) Dylan and Baez do something similar but with more serious issues \ topics and a harsher tone. (I like Dylan and Baez.) Anyway it is late for me here. I have enjoyed your foray through Les Paul's songs. I like being surprised. Keep it up Kitty :) |

More sad news from kittyland. Lori's beautiful Main Coon Princess Bella passed away suddenly from a heart attack early Easter morning. She was only almost 6yo. We are both very heartbroken over her loss. Main coon cats do have some genetic heart problems, She was a very beautiful black kitty with huge eyes. She was a most beatuful cat and will be missed very much by both of us. Not fair. I am rather forlorn over her loss. I will miss little Bella very much. Sometimes you have to know where the basis of humor is and sometimes it still holds true 50 years later. The one in the middle............. was a methodist?
