Not a good week for the kittyman. My father passed away on Tuesday at the age of 82. He had 5 bypass heart surgery some years ago, which afforded him some very good additional years to his life. I shall miss him very very much. He was a good father to me. He loved his yard work, and was active at it up until the very end, which came rather quickly. He was in the Navy Reserve as a young man so he will be interred at a veteran's memorial site down in Texas, where he lived for many years after leaving Wisconsin. I hope to be able to travel there some day to visit him. Goodbye, my dear father. Meowtears. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once."

Mark, You have my condolences on the passing of your father. I recently lost my father at the young age of 89, just 2 1/2 months shy of his 90th which he was looking forward to celebrating. |
