So sorry to hear of your loss. They really do leave paw prints on your heart. You will always remember the love but need to move on. It takes time but you will heal. May it be quick and painless. |

Thank you very much to all who have offered your condolences in my very difficult time. I am very slowly starting to get better, but it's still hard when many things that I do or think of remind me daily of how big a part that my special Purrball shared in my life during her 20 year kitty life. Since her sister Bandit passed 2 years ago, it was just me and Purrball together. Now it's just me, and that sudden isolation hit me very hard. Every night when I went to bed, Purrball would climb on my chest and I would give her a kitty massage. And she would shower me with purrs and nose butts and lick my nose to show her love. Now I just have to try to get some sleep cuddling my stuffed plush Oscar kitty. It helps a bit, but of course is not the same. Thanks again to those who have been kind enough to share their thoughts. That does help a bit too. Meow. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Oh Mark. I am so dreadfully sorry to hear that yourlast kitty has passed on. I have had cats for over 40 years, all 8 of them are buried in the back garden. I cried like a baby over each and every one. I know exactly how you are feeling, been there too often myself. I send yoy my kindest feelings and warm regards at this sad time. |

I am still struggling with life since my Purrball kitty had to leave me. I am trying to get along.............one day at a time, but the pain has not left me. I sleep with my stuffed Oscar kitty now, and he does provide some relief and comfort. I still have to lay Purrball to rest in the backyard next to her sister Bandit as soon as the ground thaws enough. That shall finally lay her to rest. Meows for nows. Meow. Thank you, Carlos. There are a few here that truly understand, or try to understand my pain. There are many more who do not. Meow. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

I am still struggling with life since my Purrball kitty had to leave me. Understandable. I still have to lay Purrball to rest in the backyard ... Hopefully the spring thaw is not too far off for your area. Once you have done this it should help you get closure. As time passes, things will get better. |

Gettin' a bit o' the blues to raise my spirits. Watching the 1986 version of the movie 'Crossroads'. An excellent movie, with good music throughout. Ry Cooder did most of the actual guitar playing.......... Tune in at about 1 hour 13 minutes into the movie and you might understand. Kitty viewed, kitty approved. I should be able to finally lay Purrball to rest in the next couple of weeks. Getting warmer slowly here, and the backyard is just a swamp with all the rain we've been having. When it dries a little bit, I can lay her to rest, along with a poor red tailed hawk that I found passed away in the back yard a few weeks ago. Magnificent bird. Deserves to be returned to the earth too. Meow. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

For both those who care and those who don't. The kittyman underwent open heart surgery last Friday. 3 bypasses were done, with veins taken out of my chest. The operation was done last Friday, and I was kicked out of the hospital Monday afternoon. Much rest is prescribed, and kitty is advancing rapidly. Why the Lord did not take me that day, I do not know. But I know that He had his reasons. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Mark, glad you are still around. I had a similar issue 14 years ago. I got stents. I walked into the hospital and walked out the next day. It's amazing how cardiologists have learned to keep us going. Take it easy for a while. Let your body heal and cut down on the chocolate bars. Thanks for letting us know. |

Follow the medical orders. It will be a while before you are back to a better self. But your ribs are going to take a long time to knit. Get well and let the idiots slide off you back like water off a duck. |

Ouch :-( I'm glad to hear that you are now on the road to recovery. Do what the doctor says and don't try to rush things along (my brother did try to go too fast and ended up back hospital for a couple of weeks).
