I haven't worked up the nerve yet to swap in the new PSU and see what is left of it.
I am guessing the mobo took the hit as well.

Over the years, I have had two computer's taking a 'water hit'. One was a desktop and the other was a laptop, which became soaked after being left our patio during an unexpected rainstorm. Both were operating at the time and neither could be fixed.

Hoping you have better luck.

Just a point I wish to make.
In reading the news every day, I have little compassion for those who wish to put themselves in harm's way and then expect help in extracting them from it.
Mountain climbers and such who then require massive efforts to save their lives.
You reap what you sow and deserve what you get.
