Mark ,
Although my father passed over 15 years ago I still miss him. I offer you my sincere condolences. I hope that those around you offer you support and understanding. I grieve with you my friend.

Anybody else realize what a significant moment of cinema this was?
It still, years later, brings me tears........of joy.

Mark, so sorry to hear about your father.
I know the feelings well; lost my Mom on 2014 and Dad is on hospice, out of state as well.
You'll be in my thoughts,
Jim ...

Our Kitty',

My thoughts are with you Mark.

Sounds like you had a great relationship with your Dad.

He is part of you now and forever.

Look after yourself throughout your time of mourning.

Know you have many friends here.

I wish thanks to each and every one of you who have posted to share my grief.
I was lucky enough to have my father through thick and thin through the greater part of my life.
And I stayed in touch with him through my trials and his.
He shall be missed more than I can say.
Thank you for understanding how great a loss this is for me.
Peace comes with time, and I am sure mine will come too.

Meow.

Mark, I'm so very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I lost my mum three weeks ago, and suddenly huge chunks of my life just turned all raw and seeping. That passes, with time, I know but I have some idea of just how much you'll be missing him and the sadness that that pain brings with it.

I hope to be able to travel there some day to visit him.
I hope so too.

Until that time, my deepest condolences to you, and everyone who loved him. And an especially big hug for you, and for those kitties too. Mine are being so good about soaking up tears. I know yours will be too.

Take care.

You're in my thoughts.

Some guy just stopped by and wanted to buy the RX7.
When I told him 20k, he walked away quickly.
The motor alone is worth 10k.
I do hope my depression lifts so I can put it on the road this summer.
Judging by auctions I have seen online, it could pull 35k for a truly interested buyer.

Meow.

Not really looking to sell it right now.
But, thank you for the advice if I do put it up for sale.

After the loss of your Dar and the time it will take to settle a little back into a more better place I think you are right.

Don't put anything up for sale or give away anything until you feel more comfortable in life.

A cat song.

Excellent choice for Kitty Moomin.

Here's the lyrics so we can all sing along.

Delilah, Delilah, oh my, oh my, oh my - you're irresistible - ooh ooh ooh
You make me smile when I'm just about to cry
You bring me hope, you make me laugh - and I like it
You get away with murder, so innocent
But when you throw a moody you're all claws and you bite
That's alright!
Delilah, Delilah, oh my, oh my, oh my - you're unpredictable - ooh ooh ooh ooh
You make me so very happy
When you cuddle up and go to sleep beside me
And then you make me slightly mad
When you pee all over my Chippendale suite
Ooh ooh Delilah
Ooh ooh Delilah
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh
You take over my house and home
You even try to answer my telephone
Delilah, you're the apple of my eyes
Meow, meow, meow,
Delilah - I love you, Delilah oh
Ooh you make me so very happy - you give me kisses
And I go out of my mind - ooh ooh
Meow, meow, meow, meow,
You're irresistible - I love you Delilah
Delilah - I love you, ha ha
You make me very happy - oooh oh yeah
I love your kisses

...

When you pee all over my Chippendale suite

When I was a kid one of the family Tom cats peed in our box of Lego bricks.

The stench. We never played with them again.

Cats do have a way of subverting or changing our lives.

Brilliant song Moomin.

Mark IIRC some years back you mentioned some serious hail damage, did you get the body fixed? A current pic would be cool. I like Mazdas, My daily driver for the last 24 years has been a Miata.

Most of you know of my love of Les Paul.
This is an interesting bit of his son, Gene.
Never saw this before.
