Flies vomit their stomach contents on solid food. Digestive juices from the stomach start breaking the solid food into small pieces. They stamp their front feet to help the process. Mixed with the stomach juices and other stuff in its stomach, the fly can now use its proboscis to drink the liquid. ID: 1871487 ·

It's still there but now lying just outside our balcony... Good news is that one of it's sibling is still around. In English we say "chick" for baby bird, not "chicken." A chicken is a special type of bird. We eat them. Chicken: Very sad about the dead magpie chick. One of my cats came in with a bluejay chick. It was alive and the parents were screaming. I took it out and put it on my roof. I have no idea what happened after that. By the way, a "fledgling" is a young bird that is just old enough to leave the nest and try to fly.
