I'm unable to edit my SETI@Home profile because, after hitting the "Update" button, it says I'm giving an "incorrect ReCaptcha response".

However, the SETI@Home profile edit feature doesn't show a ReCaptcha.

I think the webmaster must have forgotten to include it.

At all of the other BOINC projects that I run, a ReCaptcha was visible, and I was able to update my profile.

I do have the reCaptcha at the bottom of the Edit Profile page, under the "Submit profile" bar. It shows in the source code for the page as well:

<label class="rc-anchor-center-item rc-anchor-checkbox-label" aria-hidden="true" role="presentation" id="recaptcha-anchor-label">I'm not a robot</label>

Do make sure that you allow the Seti@Home pages through any Noscript, uBlock or similar script blockers, else things like the reCaptcha can become hidden.

I solved the problem by using a different web browser.

When using the Internet Explorer web browser, the reCaptcha doesn't appear in the "Edit Profile" page at the SETI@Home web site.

But, the reCaptcha does appear when using the Mozilla Firefox web browser.

Strangely, I didn't encounter that problem when updating my profile at any of the other BOINC projects.

Seeing that you're using Windows 10, are you sure you used Internet Explorer and not Edge?

I'll send a note to the developer of the forum software.
