I get this message in Console: com.apple.message.domain: com.apple.crashreporter.writereport.wakeups_resource.diag com.apple.message.signature: setiathome_8.00_x86_64-apple-darwin__opencl_intel_gpu_sah com.apple.message.signature3: wakeups I checked because my Mac is waking all the time after I put it to sleep. I notice that the fan is roaring, and start to troubleshoot. Seems that setiathome is waking it up. I am using BoincManager 7.6.22 ; will try the update. Does anyone have any info or analysis to share on this? |

Make sure that: 1. You have Activity (BOINC Manager->View->Advanced view->Activity menu) set to "Run based on preferences" and "Use GPU based on preferences". 2. Set preferences to Suspend when on battery if that is required (is it a laptop or notebook Mac?) 3. Make use of Suspend when no mouse/keyboard input in last N minutes preference (only available in the web preferences) and that you set that to a couple of minutes before you allow the system to suspend. 4. Or if you suspend the system manually, to turn off BOINC before doing so. |
