The really sad part in all of this back and forth, obstructionism from both sides and name calling is that it has 'poisoned the well' of actual effective Government. Possibly permanently. If the Congress can't pass any meaningful legislation because of repeated committee boycotts and demonstrations by the opposition what will be the response the next time the power pendulum swings? The Conservatives will use exactly the same tactics to derail the opposition if and when the time comes.

Civil discourse and discussion have become non existent, drowned by the angry name calling and bickering. Soon the Congress will resemble that of Iraq with the throwing of shoes and fist fights becoming commonplace. How long until that will lead to outright Civil War?

"If they do not want to cooperate, then you will not be let in," Kelly stated at the hearing in Congress on February 7, according to the newspaper.
His gambit raises not unexpected outcry from human rights organizations, lawyers, security, privacy and commercial organizations.
"No authorities should undermine the security, privacy or other rights with a form policy which requires passwords from individuals," reads the petition, signed by Reporters Without Borders and Human Rights Watch and a number of other organizations.
