Today I got confirmation, the park is nickel and dimming the people who live in the park, the reason for the last raise in rent was a sham, as soon as I can one way or another, I'm moving out asap, preferably with this mobile home. Even if taxes and such will go from $80.30 a year to about $777.93 a year...

Still no letter from SCE yet for the Medical Baseline Program that explains that I've been qualified since Oct 12th 2016, that I need to fax to Yes Energy Management.

Wells Fargo has a payment calculator for unsecured loans, even over 5 years, borrowing $35,000.00 to move Me and this mobile home, would cost about $717.66 a month for 5 years @ 8.475%(assumes excellent credit and good enough income to make the payments), I'd need what I'm getting now and My Social Security check when I turn 62, just to have enough extra income to do this with...

I found a replacement for My sofa/recliner, hopefully suede or whatever it's is good enough to resist Grace's claws, it's a loveseat/recliner that with taxes, and shipping is currently $398.67, of course I need 4 pcs of furniture moved before I order that, but that will have to wait until all 3 cards are paid off.

Then there is the land, maybe I could, should wait 6 years until I can file for My SS benefits, which could cost as much as $10,500.00 total, this is only with closing costs in California, no sales tax on land sales here.

My Doctor is trying to setup another catscan, this time with contrast, and get a referral to a urologist for a biopsy, catscan before showed growths on both kidneys, today I was told ultrasound showed cysts, strange. Cause of some metal in Me, an MRI is out ok, though not in the cards right now, right now I'm waiting for a call from the Doctor.

The metal is just Titanium, which according eHow.com is safe for an MRI.

I think I found the cause of My high blood pressure, Naproxen Sodium, WebMD says the following:

Common NSAIDs that can raise blood pressure include:

Ibuprofen (Advil, Motrin)
Naproxen (Aleve, Naprosyn)

I take 2 Naproxen Sodium pills a day, I used to take extra strength Tylenol, today I have high blood pressure problems, before I took the Naproxen Sodium pills My blood pressure was lower, I can remember only the higher number since it stood out(164/??), the lower number I can't remember.

Also I was told I have 2 hernia's, go figure. I've got to look up what that is. Never mind I have something on that on paper here. A small Hiatal Hernia in My case it seems. Treatment: Tums or the equivalent. Check. No caffeine based beverages, soda, coffee, well I gave up drinking coffee, now soda? Ugh.

And an Inguinal Hernia? It says some stuff about a wound(s), I have no wounds, this one's crazy...

Degenerative Disc Disease, that's mentioned, but I wasn't told if the CT-scan detected that or not.

Impression: solid masses in both kidneys, right side larger than left side worrisome for renal cancer. Recommend CT scan with 3 phase IV contrast for further evaluation
mentioned in paperwork from ER...

Potassium content of foods, I may need to go back to eating broccoli, as broccoli per 1/2 cup has 230mg of Potassium, I never knew that before, a medium banana has 425mg by comparison, a fast food cheeseburger has 225-400mg, cereal 100% bran has 200-400mg, and that is only a sample of the list, which is about 3.25 pages long. Peas green beans are also a source of Potassium at 90mg each, corn is at 195mg, carrots are at 180mg(doesn't mention frozen, says cooked or raw), I might need to go back to California Mixed Vegetables next month, for now I'm stuck with what I have. Which is Corn, peas, green beans, and carrots, instead of Broccoli, Cauliflower(150mg, raw, also does not mention frozen) and Carrots.

This doesn't go to why I feel like the water here is Ice Cold, or why in the ER I felt like I had a fever, then I had chills, then repeat, so much so that I had to put My jacket back on, I read it might be an infection, I'll have to mention this, as the ER only took My temp once. Though from what I've read, My kidneys might be making the water seem colder than it really is, or maybe not, I don't know.

Oh and to get a Biopsy, means surgery in a Hospital w/general anesthesia, they have to make a small hole or two, where I don't know, I may be there for a few days, I'll have to see how I can take care of Grace while I would be in the Hospital...

Those hot/cold cycles can be caused by an infection, and may not be actual temperature swings but to do with thee way your body is managing its waste fluid disposal.
As for your high blood pressure, not only drugs but life-style food intake, illness, age, genetic pre-disposition, "white coats" and a whole lot more things can all lead to high blood pressure. As a rough guide "normal" for a healthy 40 year old is 120/80, increasing with age to 150/90 at 60. So 164/?? is high, but not massively so unless the lower figure is over 100. Another thing that comes into play is that some illnesses actually reduce blood pressure, which can mask underlying high blood pressure - this is why having a good continuous health record is important - the changes can be spotted by comparing "today" with history it is possible to see high/low for the individual rather than against the norm. If the doctor was worried about your blood pressure being TOO high, as opposed to just elevated he would have either sent you off for even more tests or given you a prescription for either statins or beta-blockers to help control it.

One thing you can do to help with any sort of kidney problem is to drink plenty of water, and make sure you pee plenty as well. Drinking plenty will help to flush the kidneys through. What is plenty? enough to keep you urine clear (not cloudy) and pale off-white in colour ("PC cream" was one description of the target colour). It is hard to give an exact volume as that is very much down to the individual, but 4-6 pints a day works for me. Don't try and drink it all in one session, but spread it through the day, with a bit more in the morning than the evening.

Yeah, infection, yeah the paperwork mentions that, I usually drink nearly 4 quarts of water and crystal light everyday, I need to clean the pitcher out in the morning, plus I do drink straight water when I take My pills, when My small supply of Naproxen Sodium is gone, it will then be extra strength Tylenol 650mg only again. Thanks Rob.

And weather & physical activity has the greatest impact on what's necessary.
Most days i'll drink at least 2 litres. When holidaying down south in the cold weather I might only have half a litre (if that) throughout the day. There have been days here where I've been slightly dehydrated at the end of the day after drinking 10+ litres (they were long, hot, humid, and very busy days).
As you mentioned, drink it over the length of the day, not just a couple of big hits.

The mistake many people make is to just re-hydrate after heavy exercise/ physical labour- It's better not to become dehydrated in the first place. Drink a cup or 3 of water an hour or more before starting heavy exercise/ physical labour and keep having a drink every now & then during that activity.

Grant - A really sound bit of advice, particularly to those of us suffering problems with our kidneys, keeping them flushed can reduce the impacts of whatever the underlying problem is, and getting dehydrated can make the problems worse. I know plain water is unappealing, but it is the best for keeping the kidneys flushed. In the summer I add a shot of re-hydration mix to a litre of water before setting out in the morning, and avoid like the plague anything containing artificial sweeteners for no other reason than I don't like the after-taste they give me.

Now, if I were to post something about a willie washer...............you might think I was getting a bit risque'.

But, I assure you, there is actually a company named Willie Washer that manufactures, well, just washers.
Yes, since 1972.

I read the paperwork that was sent home with Me, and I don't know why the Doc says ON rather than IN, but the paperwork here clearly says I have two masses IN My kidneys, not ON, so I'm going to have to call His office and tell someone of that... Maybe He was in a hurry, while I had the time to read the, pardon the pun, juicy parts.

@ Carlos, thanks.

Blue/green - food dyes....
Even better is crystal violet which gives a "nice" deep blue/purple colour and a very loud scream from the "victim".

Oh that would be a riot. LOL

On another note, since a biopsy requires an overnight stay the Barstow Community Hospital, I'm getting Grace ready, She'll be on dry food and water, but She likes the food, so since I had this around, I just had to find and clean it off. needless to say I did not leave the food dispenser there, I moved it back around the corner, Grace just decided to eat when I took the pic, "that darned cat" comes to mind... Not that Grace is a darned cat, it just came to mind.

A pic of Grace and Her feeder, sorry the old phone is not working as well as it used to for some reason, farther away is worse. I washed the dispenser before putting any of Her dry food in it, She adapted quickly, once I put Her metal bowl out of sight. This one holds almost 3.5lbs of food, which is the size of bag that I buy, putting this away for Her canned food will be a challenge though, but not something I can't do.

Lovely I can't get the pics to be, side by side.

Just because it's possible to do something, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
Recently, a six-year-old girl in Texas was able to order a $170 dollhouse and four-pounds worth of sugar cookies through Amazon’s Echo Dot. But at least in that case, the kindergartner was actually talking directly to Alexa.
On the morning of Jan. 5, California television channel CW-6 was reporting on the little girl’s purchases when he accidentally caused a slew of other Alexas to also attempt shopping sprees.

Amazon’s Alexa heard her name on TV and ordered up a ton of dollhouses.

Not sure where I left off with my medical problems. Saw my dermatologist last week. Nothing really new there. She thinks I should go see another specialist about my fingernail. Not sure I will.

Saw my GP this week. She thinks I have arthritis in all the recent trouble spots. Sent me for an ultrasound of the left leg to confirm the foot swelling was not a clot and an x-ray of the right knee to confirm arthritis there. Did both of those Friday and haven't checked online to see if there are results yet; there may not be until Monday. She also recommended another specialist.

The knee has been better, but not quite back to normal range of motion, and it felt like it might have gotten bad if I'd stood and walked much longer in Union Station Wednesday morning (see the Train Thread). I was surprised Thursday that the left foot was no longer swollen, although it's still tender. OTOH, I walked around longer than that Friday evening and the knee was fine. Today, I've been sitting in my recliner all day and the knee has a bit of a dull ache, but then so do my butt and my neck.

Other than that, she accepted that I'm off Invokana for good (my insurance quit covering it), but didn't change anything because my A1C is still acceptable (although my fasting sugar is getting too high). I also gained a few pounds.
