the main plot of the episode (corruption and excessive wait times for treatment at Veterans' Administration hospitals), not how Granger fit into it. They brought in two new characters (one of whom had a brief cameo right after Ferrer died and will probably be a permanent recurring character) for the evidently extensive rewrite. Okay, so Part 2 didn't even mention the VA scandal again. It was all about tracking down the stolen gold and setting up the THREE guest characters as likely to recur. Granger was hardly mentioned at all, but there's still a picture of him in the title sequence and Ferrer is listed among the regular cast, which I'm guessing will be the case for the rest of the season. Must be a slow news day. Hospedia was the company I used to work for, and when I left in 2012 it was 70p a minute for a call and the minimum was £5 a day to watch TV. So it has taken 5 years for them to get upset. This is old old old news and stories almost exactly like this were around when I worked for them. Seems in 5 years the prices haven't gone up. Yes the backers of the company an American Investment firm, do only care about money, that is how they managed to take over the company. Poor treatment of staff was one reason I left, another was when I complained to my boss about the way I was being used to cause friction between departments, I received a phone call from the technical director, telling me to do my job and keep quiet, or.... To be fair when I left the company had never shown a profit due to the high cost of the original install. To be frank I am surprised they are still going. |

I'm thinking about ripping out the setback thermostat, that is the one that the capsbc.org installed, why? I'd set the temp to 74F, this is the setting that is stored in memory, and not forgotten since this model has a battery backup system, thinking the gas furnace would never turn on at that temp, wrong it did, during the day too, so I shut the furnace blower off until 7:10pm, then flipped the switch back on, just over 5 hours later, it's now 86F, it was 80F when this started, I emailed the people responsible for this and asked for them to send someone out here and put the old thermostat back in place, which I fished out of the trash, along with the crappy Pro T705 Box, I tried setting the setbacks first to 62F, then to 55F, then to the lowest possible setting of 44F, nothing has worked, except to turn off the blower at the switch at the blower... Fan is set to Auto, On is the only other setting, System settings are: Cool/Off/Heat Setting to Off instead of Heat at the thermostat does nothing, the furnace just runs and runs, and runs... Cool will do nothing since that system is not totally there anymore... The gas furnace is a Coleman design, and is very possibly 30 years old, it needs a new more air restrictive vent cap for the gas furnace, yet the capsbc.org won't install one on My mobile home. The guy they sent out recommended a smaller more restrictive vent cap, to keep the pilot from blowing out again. Prices are up in the $100,000 range, a deposit by Me would only need 0.5%, or $500.00 total, the other 5% would come from the county platinum program, which provides down payment assistance. A 5.5% down payment on a $98,000 house with land, that one can live in after moving in, would have an estimated payment of $639.00 a month, I get $895.72 a month, the math just doesn't work, I'd have $256.72 left over every month. That 5.5% in this case is $5,390.00. So I should save up $2,000.00? $100.00 a month ? For like 2 years? I do have bills to pay, most of which I do not have to reveal, just cause I don't work anymore, does not mean they don't exist all of a sudden. Fan is set to Auto, On is the only other setting, System settings are: Cool/Off/Heat Given this it looks as if there is an interface issue between the controller "on the wall" and the furnace controller. This sort of issue is not uncommon, particularly when using "quite modern" controllers with "quite old" heating devices like yours. And (as I know from experience) can be a grade one pain in the situpon to resolve :-( Have you actually tried for a new heat system from your CAP? It would appear from this page (https://www.capsbc.org/home-weatherization) that you may be able to get your heating either repaired or replaced (tenth bullet point = Appliance repair/replacement (water heaters, cooling and heating appliances, washers, etc.)). You certainly have a qualifying income, by a considerable margin. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

The scope appears to have changed a little since last time I looked (probably over a year ago) A question about debt to income ratio in this context - is it based on monthly gross or nett income? And does it consider credit card balance as part of one's debt? Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |

If they guy recommended a different type of vent cap why won't they fit one then? Prices went up since then. Yeah, a plot of land I was watching sold for $9,500.00, others are available, though they are off the market. Yes. Doing tear down, moving the place across a state line, a distance of about 155 miles, and setup, I did that in 2006 for $5500 divided among 3 different companies, a foundation the county wanted cost Me $1500, plus getting a county construction permit $293, I've been there already, I just lack the funds to do that again for another 55 miles, I was told $25,000 sounds reasonable too, hence why I need to bump up My credit score, whether I can afford an unsecured loan is another matter, so I pay down stuff, buy what is needed, when needed, though sometimes I delay stuff, I have more than enough delayed, a backlog really. What passes for towels, some might call rags, same goes for t shirts, I'll get them, just not today. I try and get by at 90% of the Federal Poverty Line, which is $11,880.00 a year or 100%, which amounts to $990 a month. At least when I'm 62 I should be able to file for Social Security benefits, which should net Me another $236 a month, provided some in Congress keeps their mitts off of My benefits, in 2018 according to the Governors proposed budget I should get another $20 a month in 2018, bringing Me up to about 92.5% of the FPL, or about $915.72 a month, I've been sitting on that info for a bit, it'll be the first time since the 2009 cuts, that I'll be above $905 a month. I did manage to lower the property taxes to $80.30 a year on this place in 2016, that used to be a around $200 a year before that, paid that $80.30 back in December 2016, thankfully that won't go up unless I own some land, since I do not own any land currently, it won't, though My fear is the rent will go up again by another $50 a month. I also managed to save $35 a month on My phone bill, I now have a phone that doesn't charge Me anything, the lifeline program pays for that here in California, it's only 3G, but it's free, 4G would cost Me money to upgrade to, eventually I'll do that upgrade, since where I'm at was upgraded to 4G, and 4G is faster than 3G any day. I've been trying that, without much success. Being what I live in, I was told some have the vent attached to the duct as one piece, stupid, I know, so they refuse on that basis, it could be something called a limit switch this time, maybe, maybe not, that might be causing the furnace to stay on, since I have not heard any audible click out of the gas valve, which does so when the valve opens or closes, when the temp at the thermostat is either raised or lowered the valve goes click normally, a 'white rogers' valve does that, no I didn't name it that, it's an after market valve. Some places see a 30 year old furnace, and a gold mine, on the phone they say one thing, then their tune changes when they get here, ka ching, gold mine. Right now the new thermostat tells the time, and the room temp, but is otherwise useless for the moment, at least the electrical switch on the gas furnace itself works. 96F is predicted for today outside, last thing I need is more heat in here, I don't do well in 86F temps, and My cat doesn't like being in those temps either. :-)) It happens! Which is why I need to pay down My debt to free up some income, a good amount really, so that maybe I could qualify for a loan, but with housing prices as of now, I'm not sure that I could do anything anymore, there is a bill in the state legislature that might or might not help Me, I made a comment in support to the author, maybe I'll get a reply, or maybe I won't, since I don't live in His district. Oh I can and do make ends meet, the bills get paid, and food is bought, rent gets paid, if I wasn't able to do that, I'd not be here typing this to you. Try to stick to what you know, it might help you a lot. The T1 Trust, PRR T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, 1 of America's First HST's |

Hope it works out for you Vic - at least your request is being passed to the correct department and not being slung in the bin and forgotten at the first hurdle. Bob Smith Member of Seti PIPPS (Pluto is a Planet Protest Society) Somewhere in the (un)known Universe? |
