"Australia's world of high finance and at least a dozen global banks have recently been thrust into the spotlight because of two separate lawsuits." Are you suggesting that Australia's banking system is populated by Yankee "drones"? |

Ah but as the Panama Papers show, Australia isn't get much of it. Sirius we are a country born on convicts . We didn't need the Panama thing to rip the yanks off we where even more bolder than that and just rigged the interest rates . Sounds like the Yanks need to chase up the ones that ended up with the money , mmm is not the Cayman Island British so maybe the Yanks need to go to London and chase up the money there . |

That's fine so long as you keep him there we don't want him back . Glenn, Has Australia forgotten that 'America' was founded on convicts? Britain dumped them on North America until we revolted in 1776. Then Britain had to look elsewhere for another place to dump their convicts.... and settled on Australia. As much as you seem to hate the USA, I find it surprising that you point out your similarity to us. https://youtu.be/iY57ErBkFFE #Texit Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016. You are correct about 50,000 convicts were sent to the American Colonies before you revolted. But it was only about 10% of the UK population that went over there and they were free to return after the sentence was completed, although most could probably not afford it. But in both cases it must be remembered these transported convicts were petty criminals. At that time even crimes like theft carried the death penalty in the UK. |

At that time even crimes like theft carried the death penalty in the UK.So back then the Anglican Church imposed something more strict than Sharia law that only calls to cut off the hand that steals? |

Yep even had custodial sentences for debtors. Imagine that in effect today - The leaders of all those countries in debt imprisoned :-) |

Yep even had custodial sentences for debtors. We do, if you are too poor to pay your traffic fine you go to jail in many jurisdictions. |

Yep even had custodial sentences for debtors. One less https://www.splcenter.org/news/2014/08/26/splc-lawsuit-closes-debtors%E2%80%99-prison-alabama-capital An SPLC lawsuit in Montgomery, Ala., has stopped the jailing of indigent people who can’t pay traffic fines – a modern-day version of debtors’ prison that is finding new life across America. |

Ooops Heh... similar to around here with the old BOTD schizz-storm. You wanna ogle women (or men, depending on your preferences and gender)? Go to the beach in summertime... And keep it to yourself. That kind of crap has no business in the workplace... unless, of course, the workplace involves ogling nearly-nekkid people (for instance, exotic-dance clubs). https://youtu.be/iY57ErBkFFE #Texit Don't blame me, I voted for Johnson(L) in 2016. Ooops Ah, BOTD for those nubies. Managers at that store should bounce all the way to Alice Springs with the boot. Their managers need a hard look too! |
