Almost a holodeck. Now all they need to do is make them feel solid.

Microsoft wants to bring HoloLens users into a conversation with other folks who aren't in the room, using a technology developed by its research division that enables "holoportation."

Thank's Janeseti sounds cool . Nice gimmick but I wonder weather it's a good thing , people are already couch potatoes and with this you won't need to go out ever and actually touch someone if they develop it that far .

Now if only someone can in vent a machine that gives us the wisdom to see weather something is good to continue to develop or not that would be great .

Bruce Willis made a movie about this type of thing called Surrogates and yet we will continue with it :(

It's not Windows that does translations.
The Internet browser does it with add-ons.
Usually Bing or Google.

I don't have to remind you but the translation is raw.
Often you have to know about all languages that you translate so it make sense.

Sorry. Bing has some problem to translate.
In this case
http://tweakers.net/nieuws/109709/microsoft-demonstreert-virtuele-teleportatie-met-behulp-van-hololens.html
Bing doesn't do it all.
Google translate works however.

Now, back to the subject of this thread. I sure would like to see this invention up close and personal.
