Message 1828839 - Posted: 6 Nov 2016, 10:54:28 UTC - in response to Message 1828837.

What it all boils down to is this/

My life and yours would be nothing, except for our companion animals.
We are theirs, and they are ours.
Life is not complete without one.

Cat,dog, whatever.

We all have and need something other than our simple lives to share.
I surely do.

I can tell you this much.
I would not be alive and talking to you today without what I have experienced with Tigger, Tigger II, Bandit, Purrball, and recently, the loss of Ty ty.
Every second of every moment I have shared with a kitty was returned tenfold.

They just do not know when to stop loving.

When Ty kitty passed in my hands a few weeks ago, it tore me up yet again.
Another soul gone from my life. I do not know how to recover from these things.

I do not know how to.

If I some day passed away and the kitty bowls went dry, my cats would resort to this behavior. It is inherent in their genes to stalk their prey.

If you dropped dead in your house and no one knew it for a few days, the first thing your kitties would do is start nibbling on you.

Hopefully they would figure out how to tear open the 20lb. sack of Purina before resorting to me....
They do have all of their claws.

If your cat want to get rid of local dogs or just to hunt mice this can come in handy.

Yeah, he's a big one.

Guess this fits in here...
Police: Burglar wakes resident while petting her cat

Police said they arrested a man after his victim woke up to see him standing at the foot of her bed. When she screamed at him to leave, she says he first leaned down to pet her cat.

St. Petersburg police arrested 24-year-old Jasper Fiorenza and charged him with burglary of an occupied dwelling. Brittney Cline was home, asleep in her bed, when Fiorenza came into her Michigan Ave. NE home on November 20.

"It takes away your sense of security and peace of mind," Brittney told FOX 13 News. "I could see him crouched down on the floor. He didn't look up at me. He was petting the cat."

And it was probably her cat that saved her, had the suspect had more nefarious plans.
