Yes, they are.
Thank you for that clip.
Just to know they are struggling, but still surviving, gives me some hope for this world.
Such beautiful cats. So strong and ruggedly built.
Makes me love my tiny specimens of the feline persuasion even more.
Mini-leopards, as it were.
Except these ones I can cuddle with.

My GF once met a "cat" walking to school a winterday.
Actually it was a Lynx.

Since then she has mixed feelings about cats.

Definitely not a House Cat, possibly bigger than Grace, maybe, though there have been hybrids of the two species I was told.

I (barely) know someone who has a pet lynx or lynx mix. It occasionally gives him a good scratching or bite, but nothing serious. I have never met the beast myself.

Sad... Abandoned, Frostbitten Kittens Who Huddled For Survival Looking For A Home

A group of three young cats who were left to freeze outside after their owner moved away and left them outside are recovering well, despite extreme frostbite.

And they are looking for a permanent family.

... Now called Icy, Frosty and Elmo, the brothers are available for adoption for free at the Felines & Canines animal shelter animal facility thanks to a donation made to the shelter on the cats' behalf.

"The fact that these brothers stuck together in the bitter cold and didn't leave each other's sides, despite being terrified and starving, is a testament to how bonded they are," the shelter said on its Facebook page. "They are just the most loving, kind-hearted cats who deserve a chance at a long, happy life together."

Minor kitty disaster................
Lori is a little banged up at the moment.
Just talked to her.....she was outside doing some snow shoveling and went inside to get a drink of water.
Coming in from the bright sunshine into the house, she did not see Starbucks kitty on the floor in the hall.
Stepped on him and went down hard.
Bruised her knee and twisted an ankle and her back. She does not think she broke anything.
After going back out to finish the shoveling, she seems to be moving OK.
Going to take a couple of ibuprofen and a hot shower...............

Starbucks ran off scared because she was yelling in pain and he didn't know what was going on.

I am sure Lori is gonna be a bit sore tomorrow, but she thinks she will be allright.

Other than being scared, Starbucks was not hurt. He is fine. And came and made up with Lori later.

Meouch.

Thanks for the thoughts.
Just got a call from her.
The hot shower helped, and she will probably be a bit black and blue for a while. She bruises easily.

But no apparent serious damage. Pulled some muscles in her back a bit.

I am very thankful that I am not running over there to take her to the emergency room.
It could have been much worse. At our age, we don't 'bounce' like we did when we were younger.

Going over in just a bit to watch the Packer playoff game and make sure she is OK.
But it sounds like she will recover just fine.

Just got home from Lori's.
She will be fine. Was moving around OK tonight.
She'll be a little sore tomorrow, I suspect.

And Starbucks has forgotten all about it by now.

Meow.

Thanks Mark & Victor. Looks like your help is making a difference. Sir Thomas has moved to first place!

I hope so.
I have my little kitty victories every day when I visit Love Meow and the Kitty donation places in my bookmarks.
They claim that each visit feeds a shelter cat.
I do so hope that is true, for then I have saved hundreds of kitties I could not touch otherwise.

I do physically go out to the local shelter and hold and cuddle the few that I am able to once in a while, and they have been the recipients of my gifts, large and small though they may be.
My two remaining kibblers are going on to their 15th year of life with me, and believe me, they are given more love and affection than most cats on this planet. And the wonderful thing is, they return it tenfold.

I am casually starting to wander the adoption pages, looking for a pair of bonded twins or something like that.
Not all would adopt two at a time, and I am almost ready to.
My wish is to save two who should not be torn apart. Although cats adapt readily, there are some situations where two are as one, That is what I wish to preserve.

My two sisters are closer than ever now that their sisterTigger has passed. They are almost inseperable sleeping together. Sometimes they look like one bundle of kitty. Oh, Lord, I do love my cats.

I also saved one the other day coming back home from work, I think.
Kitteh was shivering in the cold frozen street. Freezing rain for chrissakes.
I stopped the car and walked up to her.
She did not run. I picked her up and cuddled her for a few minutes. A rather large cat. Twenty or more pounds.
She then got restless and wanted to be put down, so I did so.
She wandered up to an apartment building, no lights on.
She pawed the door, so I knew it was her home.
I rang the doorbell. Minutes passed, and finally a light came on.
I had a few angry words with the man, but he let kitty indoors.
I was so close to a fistfight, I cannot tell you.
I basically told the man, either this cat is coming in, or YOU are going out. And I shall stand here all night to see you shiver on the ice in your driveway. It was a close one.
He let kitteh in and she confirmed my assertion of him as the owner by worming her way around his legs.
Some people should not be allowed to own a cat. This one would be an example.
If I have to knock on the freaking door at 1AM and ask him to let the cat in from the frozen street??????????????//
No way that man should have the luxury of owning a cat.
I came this close to calling and complaining to the town hall, but that is not my kind of thing, so I did not.
Yes, I am the kittyman.

They do call me the kittyman for a reason.

Meow. Meow. and Meow.
