At the close of play, the Aussies are 116-4. Going to be an interesting day 3. |

Will it be a hit or a miss? T-20 cricket makes a big entrance in the U.S.. Major League Cricket got under way in Texas on Friday with a swag of big-name stars, and the list could include an Australian Test hero next season. It's been going down well here with the U.S. expats that we have around here. |

Aussie Women retain the Ashes. Well done Ladies. Close game, sadly our lot didn't get enough 2's or 4's. Considering that the Aussies won by 3 runs... |

For once the English weather played with us instead of against us like it usually does. |

Is trying to play test cricket like a 1 day match working? The panel is still out on it. Ashes ‘carnage’ leaves us as confused as ever as key question remains unanswered. |

Interesting series. The Aussies retained the Ashes but it looks like they'll have to wait until the next home Ashes to win in England. Nice ending for Broad, hitting a 6 on last ball of the innings & then getting the last wicket of the Aussies innings, ending the series on 2-2. |

Well the Proteas havn't put up a fight at all. :-( Australia beats South Africa in second Twenty20 to win series. Mitch is leaving his mark as captain. |

After the Aussies' clean sweep of the Proteas in T20 series could 1 decision make a difference in the ODI's? Mitch Marsh backs 'one of the GOATS' David Warner to open the batting for Australia at the ODI World Cup. |

I reckon that it's time for Warner to face reality and bite the bullet as the Aussies take out the 1st ODI against the Proteas with Marnus coming to the rescue. Having been unceremoniously cut from the Aussie World Cup squad, Marnus Labuschagne has sent a message to selectors. |

Well Warner finally fires as the Proteas go down again. Australia has pulverised South Africa in the second ODI with David Warner and a second Aussie both bashing hundreds. |

Finally the Proteas got 1 back on us. Australian batting collapse hands South Africa ODI victory, keeps series alive. |

You are suppose to keep your eye on the ball as the front of your helmet and face guard take the brunt, but because fools keep taking their eyes off the ball and turning their heads it had to happen. Changes to helmet rules and hitting the roof at Marvel Stadium coming for summer. We never had helmets let alone with face guards back in my day which maybe why we always kept our eyes on the ball. Then Tony Greig came along with his stack hat on, but still no face guard to face Lillee and Tommo. |

The Proteas have got their act together now. South Africa obliterates one-day cricket records as Australia humiliated. |

Afghanistan are giving England a bad case of hubris in the one-day world cup in Delhi - 100 up with no loss, after 12.4 overs. |

Our boys finally picked themselves up. Aussies finally kick into gear in World Cup thrashing. But can they keep it up? |

The Proteas feel the embarrassment now. South Africa humiliated by Netherlands in historic World Cup result. |

The Aussie boys seem to be coming on song. David Warner and Mitchell Marsh have shown the ruthless Australia is back as the duo put Pakistan to the sword in brutal fashion. While the Proteas gave the Poms a lesson. England is on life support after a record World Cup thrashing with one South African star forced to say sorry for a telling act. I left that game when the Poms were at 6-68 already sensing the end was near, but I was surprised that they made it to 170 (though still well short of the 400 run target). |
