They're certainly a pale shadow of what they were during the last 4 decades of the 20th Century. |

Ouch :-( Years ago I met a few members of the Windies team that dominated everyone that had the misfortune to encounter them. real gents, probably because we didn't put them on pedestals but as ordinary guys on their day off. Yeah I met quite a lot of them during the late 70's and right through the 80's & 90's whenever they were in Sydney (working for Sydney Buses had its perks), lovely happy chaps, but it has been sad to watch their decline this century. |

My memories of West Indian cricketers is when I was at school with Bumble, AKA David Lloyd. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/41391493 |

Well I just hope that the Proteas can put up a bit more of a fight than the W.I. did on Saturday. |

As we await the start of the 1st test against the Proteas today 1 T20 team last night had a horror that created a record that won't be forgotten in a long time. Sydney Thunder skittled for 15 all out in Big Bash against Adelaide Strikers in T20 cricket's worst score. They won't live that performance down. |

On day 1 the Proteas were dismissed for 154 runs while the Aussies at stumps were 5/145. It's a bowlers wicket ATM. |

At stumps on day 3 (called early due to rain) the Aussies had declared at 8/575 requiring the Proteas to score over 386 to make us bat again and were off to a bad start at 1/15 when the rain intervened. |
