Sad I trust that your internal investigation resolves this fast & deal with this harshly, or it will take you guys a long time to recover from it. |

There's certainly going to be a reception waiting for them when they get home, just not the sort of reception they'd be looking forward too. Cheers. |

I think there will be much "wicket" protection with all the wide's & no balls flying about :-) |

Both Smith and Warner have received 12 month bans, Smith will not be eligible for a leadership roll again for 12months after returning while Warner will never be given that chance again and Bancroft received a 9 month ban. A hot reception will be waiting for the trio at the airport when they return home this afternoon. Cheers. |

I wanted to post these links yesterday but wasn't quick enough to beat the outage. 1st off, this is not a dig at Australia... One Two Three Four Five ...but a dig at all within the game. This current issue came to light because a South African player felt something was going on & told the cameramen to focus on the Australian players. Wasn't a South African player fined but received no ban for ball tampering? If one reads all those reports, there is one underlying issue - It has been going on for years in all teams, so the question for me remains this: WHY the constant bilge regarding Australia? |

Yes there have been others caught out for ball tampering before, but this goes right against our nation's ethics and the captain of our team is suppose to be regarded 2nd only to our P.M. so we here regard this incident more like treason. Cheers. |

Can't fault you for that, but I still think the problem lies within the ICC. Former umpire John Holder also says that. John Holder clip is the last one in this report |

Well all 3 are now home. I think the only one who will recover from this will be Bancroft. The 25-year-old has shown immense character since the scandal broke despite his nine-month suspension ruling him out of playing for Australia or in Australian first class cricket until December. An exact date of his return has not been officially released.Quote from news.com.au |

WHY the constant bilge regarding Australia? As Wiggo says the Australian Captain is 2nd only to the P.M here so any thing that's brings the game or the Captains honesty in to question is seriously bad . Very dissapointed in Steve Smith I believe that the actions of the South Africans in sledging Warners wife in the way i believe they did has a lot to do with why this happened . Warner's wife before she was going out with Warner was busted having sex in a public place and as my pertner said you can imagine what was said by the south Africans about that which i can't say here what my partner said . Still it's not a reason to cheat but you can understand the mind set of both Warner and Smith Even sledging can go to far as it dd in the 2nd test and that comes back to the umpires in not putting a stop to it and the ICC for not taking ball tampering serious |

Three Test matches featuring Indian cricket team were fixed, claims Al Jazeera sting. In the last two years, at least three Test matches featuring India have been fixed, claims a documentary on cricket corruption made by Al Jazeera’s investigative unit. The Doha-based TV channel has shared exclusive footage with Hindustan Times that argues how a Mumbai-based former Indian first-class cricketer, an Indian advertisement executive based in the UAE and members of the D-Company use their ‘connections’ in the cricket establishment and even in the International Cricket Council (ICC) to decide on the outcome of matches. If true then nothing less than lifetime bans from all venues and huge fines will suffice for the guilty. |
