10 year old Kaylee Rodgers, from Northern Ireland, sings Leonard Cohen's 'Hallelujah'. I can say this here, and hope I am understood. I have a bit of autism myself. Not full blown, but I do have a bit of disconnect with reality. And, having that, I can tell you this. Once in a long while, those of us who refuse or cannot accept things as are presented to us, bring a special view to the table. We just kinda see the world in a different way at times. Not always appreciated by others. Thank you for sharing that with us, oh Jaundiced one. Made MY day.....................and even more special, seeing as how dear Leonard passed on recently, and this is my favorite song he penned. And how do some girls so young connect with a song written and first sung like, eons ago? I suppose, music is timeless. Kayla Estes. It gives me some hope at times when the world is crashing all around me that some still find hope and inspiration in the words some of us laid down so many years ago. If you are ever at a loss what to listen to................ Here is something. Nessun Dorma by the greatest tenor ever to sing it. My little speakers are barely up to the task. And kids, if that does not bring you to tears, you are beyond all hope. And I do suggest, that just once in your life, you listen to Puccini's masterpiece in it's entirety. If you sit down and listen to it all, your life may be changed. Pavarotti is not the only one who voiced it./ There are several others who successfully did so. None of which are still surviving. Except for this gentleman. Paul Potts. The only living man I am aware of that can do this. Pavarotti was the ultimate, but Paul comes very close. Any others I should be aware of?
