I wonder how much longer it will be before panspermia is regarded as the most likely root source of life on earth and elsewhere. Bob DeWoody My motto: Never do today what you can put off until tomorrow as it may not be required. This no longer applies in light of current events. |

I wonder how much longer it will be before panspermia is regarded as the most likely root source of life on earth and elsewhere. so far, nobody has explained it, without some "assumptions"...& that is where theory of evolution also fails! one day, we might all be smarter... :/ non-profit org. I wonder how much longer it will be before panspermia is regarded as the most likely root source of life on earth and elsewhere. I think it qualifies as a last resort explanation. You'd need an extremophile that could survive being blasted into space by an impact and then be able to survive possibly millions of years in interstellar space before slamming into the Earth. Without first finding life on a comet or an asteroid I don't know how it's going to get serious traction as a viable alternative. |

...& that is where theory of evolution also fails! so far, creation of Life on Earth has been abandoned, favoring "panspermia" theory... also, evolution inside species have been proven...as development of species to environment...example of sharks in which even different brooding of youngsters have been observed... but evolution have not proven a viable development of different species...a missing links! example: sharks as fishes skeleton from cartilage & bone fishes...or where did Caniformia & Feliformia separated?! etc. non-profit org. but evolution have not proven a viable development of different species... doesn't mention at all DNA & problems with genome pairing... example: a horse & donkey gives "unbreedable" hybrids... why? different number of genes... same thing is with monkeys & human...doesn't work! but if someone gets impregnated by large monkey or impregnates large monkey...I'd be one of the first to read about that experiment! ;) non-profit org.
