instead of multiple knives think of a 3-tined fork Oh. Okay :) <some time later> all I'm getting is cake... lots of cake... Lafayette and crab's legs. Might have to cheat and delve into wiki... sorry :/ Here we are: Afafernando - little known village sporting event held in Hook-a-gate, Shropshire. Combines the principles of: three-legged racing and egg and spoon racing, with the main difference being the eggs are hard boiled and divested of their shells at the start of the race, then balanced on three tined forks and transported to the finishing line by means of sway-running in time to the Abba song, Fernando. Annfearfoad - competing name for the continental cadenas (cutlery holder in which you carried your own with you to sophisticated dinner parties). Coined by the English, the annfearfoad's use stemmed from a misunderstanding as to why such implements might be required. Used to supplying their faces with food by means of their hands, or directly, by sinking their teeth straight into it, the rise of the cadenas on the continent, led to suspicions amongst the island's nobility, that food was being served live and could therefore be potentially, very very dangerous indeed. Although now airbrushed from history, most of the European wars involving England up until the First World War anyway, stemmed from English nobility turning up with cleavers, swords and pitchforks (and the occasional cannon in case of snails) stashed in crates they plonked on the dining tables of their hosts. *beam happily at Ralph* I'll go and look for a word to jumble whilst I wait for your PM... oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :) |

Those are most amazing uses and history of cutlery. However, I may have misled you with my answer. I was referring to grouping of letters. Therefore, time for a new scoring: Afafernando: 3 Annfearfoad: 2 Although it could lead to the aggressive use of cutlery if competing parties are doing it. |

fanfaronade Oh *look suspiciously at the lack of a red squiggly line under Admiral's word* So not Fanfanadeor - Spanish equivalent of the cancan. OR FanfaranOde - a long musical poem about a distant fan that can be seen on the horizon ...we'll see :) oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :) |

fanfaronade That has no red squiggly line because it is right. Political candidates tend toward fanfaronade and we have been subject to it for too many months. Well done, Admiral. I think the Spanish dance and musical ode would be quite a relief, however. |

Found some letters. *prepare tippex for painting onto monitor* RidFacilityImp - highly technical word. Means a major effort to identify, and then escort from the premises, gremlins. There! :) and not a red squiggly line in sight. edit: I forgot to do the bold thing but I have now, oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :) |

DIMPLIFICITRAY Much closer but still not it. You do have several letters in the right places. |

DIMPLIFICITRAY LIMPIDIFICTARY I don't expect it to be right, but I'd like to know how it compares to the other one. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

I got to looking at my word and forgot to super jumble it. I hope Anniet is looking at this soon. Very soon. Because only 3 letters are out of place. But what 3? |

v-e-r-y s-l-o-w b-l-i-n-k This is the second barely disguised attempt to remind me of the word fiduciary, Admiral... *strain smile* FidiciaryPlimt: a machine that offers something in exchange for money, but doesn't deliver it Difimplicitary: detrimental collusion between automated services and machines |

Maybe I was "fully trusting someone" it would be solved by now. David still has a chance. |

You know when you said this Admiral... only 3 letters are out of place. But what 3? I thought I cared. Turns out I didn't *drop lashes onto keyboard* 'scuse me mmmnnjjjjjjj ,kkkj GOT THEM :) Okay... Implicitdifary - lazily confident your trust has not been misplaced LitryPacifidim - having enough faith in those around you to fall asleep whilst reading and believe you will wake with the page you were on marked, not your face drawn on ImplacidityFir - evergreen tree with the habit of crossing the path of inexperienced skiers |

Amplificitridy - like potential energy... except relates to the din something or someone might make when frustrated, like say... when faced with a jumbled word for instance :) Yes. Oh boy… I did not mean to sound put out with my last post. I was dropping another clue. Were you? I didn't notice :) That might be because no matter what I do, I can't get: fridayimplicit (only three in the wrong place) and dimplificitray (several letters in the right places) to co-operate in any meaningful manner whatsoever. |

Would it help if the word starts with a "F"? And "fully trusting someone" is a second clue. |

Would it help if the word starts with a "F"? And "fully trusting someone" is a second clue. Hmmm. It might :) I'll go away and see... oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :) |

I got to looking at my word and forgot to super jumble it. I hope Anniet is looking at this soon. Very soon. Because only 3 letters are out of place. But what 3? So you're saying that fridayimplicitonly has 3 letters in the wrong place? And it has to do with trusting someone... fairdyimplicit dryfaiimplicit dairyfimplicit hmmmmm.... [edit] Oh wait, it starts with F. Scratch the last two. fraidyimplicit frydiaimplicit David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |
