Not much to say about your attempts David. The letters are all over the place. The closest match from the two of you is Anniet's third defined word. Half right half backwards twice. |

hmmmmmmm... Deboroughs - to remove a borough, possibly for purposes of: gerrymandering; cost cutting/efficiency drives;; incompetent filing methods; or purely to confuse residents. There :) whilst awaiting my victory PM, I'll go and look for a word to jumble ... yes... I will... and no one can stop me! :) oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :) |

If that's a clue it marched straight past me. It be close, but still a letter in the wrong spot. Deborsough - the act of chucking bells and things that clank, into the branches of trees to make the soft moaning sound of the wind in them not at all boring *scowl at dictionary* who says tree-whistles are boring? *peer amiably out at world* they're not you know :) Which reminds me... we have a trainer tree in our street. After the annual leaf migration, it's quite eye catching. Alternatively, you might be wanting this, Admiral... Sdeborough (pronounced stee ba ra) fake zebra crossings that splatter you pavement edge to pavement edge. Deployed by bored riot police when protesters are deemed too peaceful - in the hope that someone might get upset and risk starvation throwing the filling of a sandwich at them. At this point the police call in air strikes, and once the scene is set, distribute press passes and permissions to film to reporters - boosting share prices of mainstream media conglomerates when the ruling classes (over their champagne, caviar and smoked salmon oeufs a la scrambled pre-breakfast appetizer) can tut-tut at the "yobs on our streets". oh...and did we say we like humans too? Well we do :) |

Right letter. Just wrong place. Let's see a clue now. It is located in the Ise Valley, between Market Harborough and Kettering. Better try for it David. |

Right letter. Just wrong place. Let's see a clue now. Okay, fine. I refrained from swooping in after Annie did all the hard work last time. This time, I'm doing it. Desborough. Also the name of a street in a couple of places in North America. David Sitting on my butt while others boldly go, Waiting for a message from a small furry creature from Alpha Centauri. |

Darafanofen - the direction in which a particularly liked bog or marshy wetland area in Cornwall can be found in. Usually aaahhhed into a wild beard by a local inhabitant to a tourist whose footwear is inappropriate for anything other than a tidy, concrete pavement Naafafonder - dexterity peculiarity predominantly seen in South Londoners when faced with more than one knife in an eating establishment. oh...and did we say we like humans too? The first gets a 1 The second gets a 5, and, instead of multiple knives think of a 3-tined fork. |
