I have never understood the use of artificial sweeteners in drinks such as coffee or tea. One teaspoon of real sugar is 16 calories. Although I prefer my tea black, if I wanted it sweetened I cannot possibly imagine wanting it sweeter than what you would get by adding a tsp of sugar.

Now for all those Pancake aficionados, here's some Pancake syrup with 0 calories, 1 gram of carbs and well see the pic. This has no sugar alcohol at all, which means no sorbitol or maltitol.

$7.99 for 750ml, I've seen higher prices for this on Amazon.

Calories or not, health risks of artificial sweeteners or not, I'm not paying that much for a bottle of syrup.

Mrs. Butterworth's for my waffles and pancakes, please. I never see the commercials with the bottle talking anymore, though. :~( Which reminds me... There used to be a commercial for something(I think it was Purina pet chow) with a covered wagon running across the kitchen floor that disappeared into the cabinets. Haven't seen that one in ages, either.

Nor of the stop motion Pillsbury Doughboy(YouTube) I think. Click on the link for a laugh, the video is 14 seconds long. LOL! :)

Gravy Train. The "chuck wagon" was interesting advertising indeed.

I've been trying to make a crispy thin crust for pizza. The recipes and mixes always turn out chewy, but I discovered soft flour tortillas from the grocery do quite nicely. I actually use a small sauté pan and take a small tortilla and fit it down inside, with the edges sticking up enough to form a sort of bowl for spooning in my pizza ingredients. The tortilla heats up and gets crisp quickly, so I pre-cook whatever filling I want to throw in. The end result is a crispy pizza. :~)

That sounds really good.

Are you starting with standard (flat) flour tortillas or those "artisan style" tortillas that are about a half inch thick?

I use the flats. Anything thicker wouldn't get crispy.

I recently saw a recipe for "pizza quesadillas."

You put pepperoni and mozzarella cheese between two flour
tortillas and heat in the microwave. Cut them into wedges
and dip them in marinara sauce (or pizza sauce). Of course
you can add things like onions or mushrooms - whatever you
like.

I put the pepperoni in the microwave by itself first, on
paper towels, so it would be crisp and a lot of the grease
would melt off.

Say what?!!

Half inch thick tortillas wouldn't work very well as tortillas, I think.
I'll have to google them. I can't imagine.
