Human head transplant edges closer to reality: Chinese surgeon teams up with Italian doctor to perform controversial procedure in 2017 The operation has been done with a chimp before but the animal died after 8 days because his body rejected the head. I do wonder what personality/soul one has after a procedure like this. Would it be the one from the body of the one from the head? The amazing operation is expected to cost around £7.5 million and last up to 36 hours. rOZZ Music Pictures |

INMO everything centers from the brain. You could plug a head into a computer and that would be where the personality/soul would be. Just my opinion though. Good thought process though, it may help answer some questions but probably will pose much more questions than answers. So apparently they don't have to match up every nerve fiber from the head to the body. I think I read somewhere that the nerves will find their own opposite. But what about muscle memory? I know musicians rely on that. I had to operate my both ulnar nerves 10 years ago. Both hands are still suffering from atrophy. It's not only to nerves finding their own opposites. It's also important that the nerve shield heals. In my case I think I have that problem. |

People keep telling me it's all in my head so that would be my first guess. |

People keep telling me it's all in my head so that would be my first guess. But what about the spinal cord? There are many primal nerve functions there. |

The head is a part of the body and is connected to it through the spinal cord and its bone marrow. And how about the physical condition, cholesterol, blood type, hormones etc..? I believe the operation won't succeed, too complicated. rOZZ Music Pictures |
