To store motion picture film reels? Not quite. A film developing / processing container with 35mm and 120 spools used in a black and white darkroom |

That does not look the same. Because the one Carlos posted is for two 35 mm rolls or one 120 roll, not four 35mm or two 120. They made them taller. |

That does not look the same. Okay. How's this one then. The earlier pic I posted. I believe it shows 2 35mm and 4 120 rolls. |

Well reading over this thread it was the Admiral who got it right first. Wrong size, but you know, size does not matter. PM sent I had no idea there were so many photographers here who developed film. Guess we are showing our age a little. |

Well reading over this thread it was the Admiral who got it right first. Wrong size, but you know, size does not matter. I took a course at a local Vo-Tech. I didn't process any hand camera roll film, but I developed plenty of flat sheet negatives. |

I didn't process any hand camera roll film, but I developed plenty of flat sheet negatives. Real good prints can come from those big negatives, in this case size does matter. |

I used to do a lot of developing of 35mm B&W negative and some B&W slide film (mostly Kodak film) along with making my own prints about 35 years ago. Was an interesting, fun and relaxing hobby I took up after taking a 1 day course on basic photography, how to develop B&W negative film and make/develop prints at my local public library. My first 35mm camera was my dad's old Kodak Signet 35. It was easy to use and took excellent pictures with very little fuss. It still works! Too bad that the cost of the chemicals, B&W film and print/paper got to be very expensive after the digital cameras took over the world. |

Like casting bread upon the waters. I give you the next mystery tool. Thought I saw one of those in a mail-order catalog I got last week. Try to find it, maybe shed some light on the subject. Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |

Used to expand o-rings when installing them over rods or pistons. Posted a similar picture here a few years back. |

Used to expand o-rings when installing them over rods or pistons. Posted a similar picture here a few years back. Not bad. It does expand o-rings when installing them over something else in this use. The O-rings are not used as seals. |
