I'm a Motel 6 kind of guy.

Ya mean there are some left? I stayed in My share of them when I was growing up, just when We went on trips.

There's a wigwam motel in my neck of the woods:

Actually, Vic, there is also:

Van Buren Drive-in Theater. $9 for adults, $1 for kids 5-9. This theater is in Riverside, close to Moreno Valley; where I used to live.

Do any of you people know what went on at
these places way back in the "old days?"

edit:
I'll tell you, most young ladies I went out with
would never have been caught at places like that....

Message 1697829 - Posted: 2 Jul 2015, 19:16:44 UTC

My parents' HP Pavilion Desktop system, (on Win 7 x64 Home Premium), suffered a glitch in Firefox 38.05 after a power outage that we had on 6-30-2015. I ran PCMatic to see if it would fix the problem; but, it did not. I than ran MalwareBytes to see if it would fix the problem, and it would not.

The problem:

Upon launching FF, since the power was restored, FF refused to bring up our traditional Home Page of Yahoo. After trying everything else, I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling FF. Still no go.

Solution/Patch:

Changed Home Page from "https://www.yahoo.com" in url to "https://us.yahoo.com/?fr=fp-comodo" to trick FF into thinking it is Comodo IceDragon. THIS WORKS!!!!! :-) I launched, closed, and launched again FF 10 times, and it now brings up our Yahoo Home Page every time, and quickly. :-)

I don't know what is corrupted in FF on Farragut, (the Desktop system in question), but by tricking it with the url for IceDragon, it now works flawlessly, again.

I wanted to post this, in case anyone else needs this information.

Just found that the Yahoo loading problem is NOT just getting to the Home Page... Getting into Yahoo Mail is dragging as well. So; while my fix for getting the Home Page working does work, it seems that Yahoo itself is having problems.

To confirm if it was a Yahoo thing, I just launched FF on Prometheus, (my Win 7 Pro x64 system), and it too was taking forever to load the Yahoo Home Page. I put in the Comodo fix in the url, and got the Home Page right away; but, too, cannot get my tertiary mail to come up. So, in conclusion, this is now a Yahoo issue; NOT a FF issue.

I will keep everyone apprised as to when Yahoo fixes the issue. (Getting anywhere else on the Net works fine... Google, Ask, whatever... Everything comes up, except Yahoo.)

Yup....
Hiding a guy in the trunk so's not to pay.
Tinny little speaker hanging offa the window that you usually forgot to remove before leaving and tearing the wires off.

Watching the movie and drinking MD2020 and blackberry brandy.
Puking out the side window.

And if you were with your favorite squeeze instead of out with the guys....
Maybe get to second base and some noogy noogy.

Yeah, I remember the outdoor theaters....LOL.

YAY... 27th July 3,000,000 cobblestones.

Only took 9 years 10 months crunching 24/7.

I am a few days short of 15 years at this quest.
So I guess that explains why my numbers are a bit better...
15 years./

And mine is not the path I should choose for others.
I have been on a rocky road at best.\
I would say choose Seti, yes.
But do not make it your slave or master, kids.

There are things we should search out. And this project does it best.
But do not do as I l have done and make it a slave of you.
Please, do not do that.

It has been mine for many years, and it is not an easy road.
