There is a puppy, only two years old per the vet, that needs to find a forever home. I was willing to adopt it, until I read it whines at cats. My two girls already have a problem with Homeless, so I hope they find another home for her.
Sigh

Abby got an X-ray. No change in her heart or respiratory rates. Issue is entirely her heart leaning on her windpipe when she lays in certain positions and causing the coughing. She is going to go on human cough suppressant ls 1 or 2x a day now. Bad news is that the local vet clinic lost the bid to get canine cardiology here so we still have to go to Cornell 2x a year for now

She slept better last night. Severity of the cough was reduced.

Gypsy Rose has been so amazing for us as a rescue, we just donated $100 to Lucky Star Cavalier Rescue. They do an amazing job!

As many know we rescued a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel 2 years ago in January. Her name is Gypsy Rose.

She's always been very skittish to me because of my wheelchair but much closer to my wife.

Due to pain from my hernia, I spent several hours on my couch last Sunday and my wife was away for the day. Out of nowhere, Gypsy came up and slept right on me for a couple hours.

It was very emotional for me as it proves we've done right by her. She's learned that it's ok to trust and love.
