The Dominion was a major interstellar state in the Gamma Quadrant. Technologically advanced and millennia old, the Dominion was founded under the absolute rule of a group of Changelings known as the Founders, whose will was carried out by the Vorta and the Jem'Hadar. The Dominion was dedicated to imposing the Founders' vision of "order" upon the universe, i.e. bringing all other civilizations under its control. |

Race-Bannon Roger T. "Race" Bannon is a special agent, bodyguard, and pilot from Intelligence One. After Dr. Quest's wife died, the government hired Race to protect Dr. Quest's son, Jonny. Governmental fears that Jonny could "fall into the wrong hands" resulted in Bannon's assignment to guard and tutor Jonny. |

The word was clueless. The first thing to mind was blonde. I did not want a possibility of being modded over that. |

Oh well, the Thread changed course before I could respond to Constitution... Constitution was actually the Class of Starship; I don't believe that NCC-1700, USS Constitution was actually built in the Star Trek Universe. Following Farragut, I can name Constellation, Exeter, Hood, Potemkin, Lexington, Excalibur, Intrepid, already named was Defiant, and then I'm missing the last two ships of the Constitution Class Vessels, without cheating and looking them up on the Web. I remembered another one... Yorktown. One more to go... If I had to guess, I'd say Excelsior; but, NOT 100% sure of that one. TL [EDIT:] OK - I couldn't stand it anymore, so I cheated. I checked THREE Web Sources, and Memory Beta states that the USS Constitution WAS built! (Surprising to me; since she was never mentioned in TOS, nor in Next Gen...) Be it known, though, that Memory Beta is NOT seen as canon... They do take liberty by taking Trek History from the Novels as well as more standard Trek Sources. However; since Memory Beta says that the USS Constitution was built, then that is the ship I was missing, and Excelsior was NOT made until the ST Movies as the Excelsior Class Vessels. I remembered another one... Yorktown. One more to go... If I had to guess, I'd say Excelsior; but, NOT 100% sure of that one. I don't know if it's established canon, but my observation has been that every class of starships is named for the first ship of the class: Enterprise 1701 and 1701-A: Constitution Class (I think I read somewhere that A was a refit of one of the others, but I don't know if that's canon) Enterprise B: Excelsior Class Enterprise C: I believe it was Enterprise Class (but again, not sure if that's established canon) Enterprise D: 3rd ship of the Galaxy Class, after Galaxy and Yamato Enterprise E: I forget [okay, I looked it up, Sovereign Class; Enterprise E is the only Sovereign we've officially seen, but I bet people with sharper eyes than mine could probably pick out one or two in the impromptu armada that meets Voyager when it gets home, and maybe even a couple in the fleet that invades Cardassia two years earlier (several Galaxies in that fleet too)] Voyager: Intrepid Class, if memory serves (Sisko's first) Defiant: Defiant Class (it was the prototype for a class of Borg fighters that was shelved when its flaws cropped up and the threat diminished; obviously, the program was restarted when the Dominion became a problem) Some of this is from the TNG Technical Manual and I suspect the authors influenced the show/movie writers to make it canon retroactively by putting it into scripts after it was already in the book. Point I almost forgot to make: Galaxy has only been seen as part of the Cardassian invasion fleet (it took damage in that action) and I don't believe Intrepid and Sovereign have ever been seen, but they are still assumed to exist, and so is Constitution.
