I agree. I see no sport at all in hunting for trophies or pleasure. That includes game birds. I did my shooting in the Army. That's enough for me. |

My fellow Earthlings, ask not what your animals can do for you, ask what you can do for your animals. Greater Good http://theanimalrescuesite.greatergood.com/clickToGive/ars/home |

Only animals need help? Healing Vets and Saving Pets;) http://www.pets-for-vets.com/ One is called Leif. https://youtu.be/yBwj3FF1PGQ It’s win-win. Needy shelter animals receive a second chance at life while giving our returning soldiers a second chance at health and happiness. The bonds of friendship formed between man and animal have the power to ease the suffering of our troops when they return from overseas. |

This is not Entertainment but... Honeybee populations have been plummeting over the last few years. It's gotten bad enough that the U.S. Department of Agriculture has expressed concerns that we will no longer be able to meet the pollination demands of U.S. agricultural crops! To make matters worse, the EPA is considering a plan that will allow a highly toxic pesticide called sulfoxaflor to be sprayed on crops that include corn, alfalfa and oats. This pesticide is especially lethal to bees, and would be placed on many of the plants that they pollinate. Approving this plan would be a step in the wrong direction, placing even more bees at risk. There’s still time to make a difference. Write to the EPA today and insist that they put bees first and oppose the increased use of sulfoxaflor! |

In my opinion, hunting for 'sport' is wrong. You sure about that? Restoring the balance |

Ever heard about my cooking experiences. In fact, I am quite good a doing it, but do not always take the time at doing it properly. Read my thread in the Cafe for more on this. Not all animals are limping around. Some are able to walk and even jump. In the British countryside, fox hunting is supposed to be the same as the title of this thread. What you are hunting does not always end up on your dinner table. There may also be instances where animal keeping becomes animal cruelty instead. Some animals become subjected to training while in captivity and the response you may receive could well differ all the time. Most people should agree that keeping an elephant in a zoo is not the same as having a parrot in your living room when it comes to this. You may be able to make a separation between meat from pork and meat from bull, but still you are supposed to be living by means of what you are eating. Some food is tasting delicious either because you are able to make it taste that way by means of your cooking skills. In other instances food may be well for your stomach because the once living animal was able to jump around and do its things. Remember the old wording about "Survival of the fittest". In order to be able to survive, I do not have to eat neither meat from squirrel nor meat from monkey. Adaptation is about selection. Because your are able to select from different choices on the menu, you are supposed to be having a better day. |

For three years ago Costa Rica prohibited recreational hunting . https://translate.google.se/translate?sl=sv&tl=en&js=y&prev=_t&hl=sv&ie=UTF-8&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.djurensratt.se%2Fom-djurens-ratt%2Fnyheter%2Fcosta-rica-forbjuder-nojesjakt&edit-text= Under the new law, adopted by the country's congress, a person who hunts can be sentenced to four months in prison or a fine of up to 3000 US dollars. Under the law, it is also prohibited to keep wild animals as pets. |

no Lupo wolfie's here only foxes witch are not native I â¤ï¸ foxes! Once I had the oppertunity to give one a sausage. It took it and walked away and burried it in my grandparents garden. Foxes are clever:) Rabbits in Australia? Here we have rabbits that are tame and hares, wild rabbits. There are now many more hares here now. I have seen several the last couples of Days. I met one when I was picking blueberries and fighting mosquitos. I felt some one looking at me and there it was. Only Three feets away and we looked at each other:) Come to think of Dingos in Australia but thats another story. |

Lion Killer. He killed Cecil the Lion. :-((((( After Cecil the Lion’s Killing, U.S. and U.N. Look to Take Action The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said on Thursday that it was investigating the circumstances surrounding the killing of Cecil, a lion that is thought to have been lured out of its protected habitat in Zimbabwe this month and killed by Walter J. Palmer, an American dentist and hunter. http://www.nytimes.com/2015/07/31/world/africa/after-cecil-the-lions-killing-us-and-un-look-to-take-action.html |

Even our country are appauled to this. The White House will now consider a request to the American dentist who shot the lion Cecil extradited to Zimbabwe to where stand trial. Hunt for Walter Palmer who shot Cecil has now reached the United States. On Thursday joined the US wildlife management authority the US Fish and Wildlife Service out with the announcement that they wanted to come in contact with Palmer. But the Bloomington dentist continued to hide from the attention that has now spread around the world. The only possibility of contact so far has been through a public relations firm Palmer hired. His defense was that he shot the lion in the belief that it was legal to do so. We petition the Obama Administration to: Extradite Minnesota Walter James Palmer to face justice in Zimbabwe. https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/extradite-minnesotan-walter-james-palmer-face-justice-zimbabwe |

Battered and injured. Live hedgehogs were used as footballs https://translate.google.se/translate?hl=sv&sl=sv&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dn.se%2Fnyheter%2Fsverige%2Fmisshandlade-igelkottar-far-hjalp%2F%3Fl1 - I do not understand that people can do so. It is perhaps young people in ignorance that use them as footballs, but I know that some have also been beaten with sticks and recently we got hit one who was stabbed with a knife. It did not survive. They seem to completely lack empathy, says Monica Johansson, one of the driving forces behind the "Kotte" Center. |
