Well Chris. My brother is like you when it comes to eggs. Vulcanized. Nothing runny. Vulcanized eggs, hmm, do they come with pointed ears? ;) Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

What no tomatoes that are Black and/or Blue? I had a long running wager with a friend regarding "There is no blue food". This kinda got blown out of the water with the introduction of the blue M&M. :)) :~D .g "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Blue vein cheese. :-) I'm allergic to the bacteria that makes up some cheeses, so I tend to avoid blue cheese and roquefort cheese, since to Me they taste bad. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

What? Blue Congo is a potatoe and is blue, hence the name. |

I'm allergic to the bacteria that makes up some cheeses, so I tend to avoid blue cheese and roquefort cheese, since to Me they taste bad. My mistake, I substituted one word for another and you are quite right. Savoir-Faire is everywhere! The T1 Trust, T1 Class 4-4-4-4 #5550, America's First HST |

What? Blue Congo is a potatoe and is blue, hence the name. I'd call that purple. As are blueberries: I think you'd be fairly safe with 'there are no natural blue foods'. Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |

I think you'd be fairly safe with 'there are no natural blue foods'. That fish is certainly blue. I stand corrected. I'm discounting the lobster, the shell is blue, but the bit you eat isn't. Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |

I think you'd be fairly safe with 'there are no natural blue foods'. I Think it's more like cyan:) But both the fish and the Blue Congo are blue-ish... |

Morning Cookies, Maybe I should have rephrased the 'wager' as being 'blue food COMMONLY AVAILABLE? But this discussion has produced some amazing results, which I'm going to email to the other side of my wager..... Thanks for the knowledge, I love learning from people with a different 'world experience' than mine. ":~D .g "Sour Grapes make a bitter Whine." <(0)> |

Maybe I should have rephrased the 'wager' as being 'blue food COMMONLY AVAILABLE? Yes even in America:) Blue corn (also known as Hopi maize) is a variety of flint maize grown in northern Mexico and the Southwestern United States, particularly in the states of Arizona and New Mexico. Indigo milk cap, the indigo (or blue) lactarius, or the blue milk mushroom, is a species of agaric fungus in the family Russulaceae. A widely distributed species, it grows naturally in eastern North America. Anthocyanin is the substance in plants that give red, purple and blue colors, depending on the pH, so that something will be pure blue it is required that the pH value is correct, or else the color to purple. But it is said that blue is the most unappetising color. If you make mashed Blue Congo, it becomes blue. |
