Yup that's the stuff Janne, the only stuff in the house I use. It's been about 15 years now since my first bottle. Sweet and great for BBQ's, chicken, beef and pork it's number one.

Hope he's ok. I haven't bbq'd in ages. When I was a kid, we used to go to a local park/forest and used the grills there. Never fancy.

Eric is out of town at a conference, so tonight I made myself a little dish I shall call "Rummage In The Refrigerator Surprise".

First I went into the backyard and picked a zucchini. I sliced it and sauteed it in olive oil, butter and salt. I covered the pan for a couple of minutes just to soften the slices of zucchini a little. I then uncovered the pan and added a rib of celery, diced, for crunch, and I sauteed that for about 30 seconds. I threw in some left-over cooked wild rice and tossed it around with the vegetables. I threw in some white wine to deglaze the pan and simultaneously steam the rice hot through as the alcohol evaporated out of the pan. I took the pan off heat and tossed the contents with a chiffonade of basil leaves. I topped the dish with grated Parmigianno Reggiano cheese for richness. Let's just say it was sort of a midwestern mock-risotto. The texture was all wrong for risotto because wild rice is not creamy like delicious arborio rice that has been cooked slowly in wine and stock. Still, the flavor combination wasn't bad for left-overs.

Bought a zucchini this morning, and it was a puny little thing, but sliced it and sprinkled a little parmesan on it in the oven, and it was a nice little side dish.

What someone committed Zucchinicide? Eek!! ;)

Someone must have been in a Pickle as to what to do.. ;)

I'm sorry I just had to say this, it's the Dentist for Me on Thursday, cold food is causing Me pain on one side of My mouth. I called earlier and scheduled an appointment, it seems they no long just pull teeth, but drill and fill, though while they can make crowns, they can't do posts to those who get Denti-Cal, the bill to fix this oversight was defeated in the Assembly, but then to some teeth are cosmetic and optional..

How did somebody come up with the idea to make a bread out of a squash? It is good, though. :~)
