I have saved this link for years now, knowing that some of you were too hard hearted or hard headed to listen to it for the beautiful and heart tearing message it contains.

Regardless of any political comments by the members of the band.....this is NOT about that. And never was. It was all bulshit in a shitstorm, and most of you, I think are intelligent to know and admit that.

The song was in appreciation of all those who died holding in their soul and hand the flag of the country they were willing to die defending. Dammit, get it right this time.

I only give the kitties their catnip treat once a week or so, but they have learned what is coming when I get the puffballs rounded up and pick up the little spray bottle of catnip oil......

Just to carry on with that thought....
You ever notice that I have, in my present life, identified and loved most the artists and songs that were present at and just before my birth?
Now either this is as significant as I suppose or it is simply because people absorb more of what they hear and experience at that age. I dunno.

I subscribe to the possibility that I should have been born a generation before I was. As to why I was not, hmmmmmmmmm.

I spend a lotta time on youtube, and I see not just the clips, but I get 'flashes' of things I 'remember' or should not have ever known or experienced.
Intuitions.....some things that are like 'deja vu' to me....

OK, now...I admit I am manic depressive and my brain chemicals are not always in the right order....BUT..
These things come to me by day, they come to me by night. They come to me sober, they come to me when I drink...

All my musical grounds come to me from the 50s and 60s. Shellac and 45s.
I invested heavily in vinyl in my youth, and have some 5000 or more discs.
The art of pressing a vinyl disc was dying too, and I guess I went into panic mode.

Enough story telling for now...I must regroup for a few minutes.
