What can I say?

OR perhaps I should not say any more.............
Yes, Suzi played bass.

I played her....enough said.
She had an untamed energy at the time that matched mine and all hell ensued for just a few days.
I do think she was already married at the time, which I am not proud of.

Same as JJ. But, I knew JJ long before she had any visions of being married to anybody. Suzi, not so. She was married at the time, but that did not sway me there and then. Her either.
I think that given other choices we might have just kissed and walked separate ways, but that is not what went down that night.
Our eyes locked and it was a done deal. We had to be together for one night.

She was, and remains, one of most beautiful women in rock and roll. Even at her age now. I am 58, and that would put her around 65. I could look it up, but the exact age is not really relevent.
I was a kid, and she was a bit older. And she saw me as the baby kid I was and took full advantage. Not that I am sorry for that.


My life has been full of hooks and twists that some may never even conjure up in their wildest dreams.
When I tell you some stories, let me assure you they are factual.
JJ and I have to sit down and talk just a bit one of these days............I think we shall before either of us passes.

She is gonna look at me with those big eyes again and whisper.........Mark...how have you been?
And then we have many hours of our life to share.


I really don't regret those days much, I just wish I had the time and energy I did back then.

Now I find myself an elder man, and I don't really like it much....LOL.

Moral of the story, kids, is this.

There is no wrong, other than not having done it.

The only wrong is what you could have done and did not.
I have done most everything that I could have already in this life.
There is, I am afraid, not another chance.

God gives us one set of wings.
I have, I think, used mine to their fullest.
I have had love. Love lost. Forgiveness. And cats...LOL.

And, if for one moment, it has taken me higher than some, I have done what God wished me to do. And the love of God is the highest award.

I...kids...........Have been able to fly. With the help of a certain animated dragon kitty I have come to love.

And that is a most wonderful experience.

You, at times have been able to see me do so.

My painful detachment from you all was extremely hard for me.

I was very lost when Eric nailed my arse to the wall and kicked me.
We have since, I think, come to terms.

I don't wish repeat that episode, but don't think I am eating my own words here either.

I love most of you, with a few exceptions.

This is my life, as I now know it.
Sick, sad, or crazy..call me what you wish to. You are part of it.

Sadly, Roy added himself to the long list of artists that were so gifted, but found it somehow necessary to leave us long before their time should have ended.

I, myself, find my brother's passing in the same manner impossible to reconcile.
It haunts me till this day, and I shall never be able to understand.
I am here until God himself takes me to his loving arms, at his only command and wish.

So you are simply stuck with me until that day............sorry, kids.
I do so hope that the trouble I have caused upon the way has not hurt you too much.

But, I still get enthused about new artists and their passion for singing.

I have diminishing time left on earth, but my clock has not run out just yet.
