Don't take me home, 'cuz Your mama won't like me. Suzi Q appeared in a Brittish TV comedy in the 90's. The character Edina meet Suzie Q in a dream after an "serious" operation:) http://www.tagtele.com/videos/voir/63639/ |

That would be Absolutely Fabulous, also known as Ab Fab. A BBC television sitcom created by Jennifer Saunders, based on an original idea by her and Dawn French, and written by Saunders, who plays the leading character. It also stars Joanna Lumley and Julia Sawalha, along with June Whitfield and Jane Horrocks. I have seen them all:) Pats who Think it's still the 60's and Edina "Eddie" it's the 70's:) |

The weather here has just gone insane... 14 below zero tonight. And I have to try to start my poor baby Olds to go to work tomorrow???? Poor Toothless. That Mobil Synthetic 0W40 is going to get a test I think. Have a dang fine Interstate battery and the starter is only a couple of years old. But machinery is just not made to work at minus 14. 30 degrees? I wish. Snow and beer and cheese. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

OK, git ready. I have just gone off on a yodelling tangent. This might take a while. Rimes, who I was dishing about last night, does it. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

And the little gurl with the big voice. Taylor Ware. It was this little gurl that kick started a whole new interest in the old tradition. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

Few women have ever held my attention as she does. Jewel. Literally. She is just so intense at times, it is unnerving. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

I would guess that what Joan and Cheri and the gurlz did back then rewrote American musical history. The first gurl band to break though some barriers than no longer exist. Whether you wish to understand or admit it or not.... I sparked that gurl with our first kiss. Stood back and sparks still shown on those eyes. That was always it, her eyes. I then went back home to Wisconsin and watched her career take off. I can go into the things that happened with West and Currie. I was there. Things went bad. The tour in Japan was a disaster. Fowley at that time was feeding the band more drugs than honey drips from the hive. Anything to keep HIS dream alive. Reality did hit home, and all crashed to the ground when West passed. That was the kicker. We lost our soulmate and drummer. And then reality set in. We were not just a band, we were mortal. The thought had never occured to any of us before that. In the ensuing years, the band dissolved. Each went separate ways. JJ is the only one that can still face me eye to eye and tell me that it was just the way it had to be. None of the others can. So, there you have it, in a nutshell. My life and history with Joan Jett. Not one of my many fantasies...this was real life.\ "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

I sparked that gurl with our first kiss Chris, Chris, Chris.. Yous admonishments are monumental at times. No, I was never on the Japan tour...as I often do, I was speaking from my viewpoint of above. Things are somewhat different for me than for many people. I look at things differently than some. You, personally, cannot see things with the same references to life that I have had. Yes, it is now 11 am my time. I an not drinking now. Have not been since about noon yesterday. I take my job rather seriously...it is a serious piece of work that I do. You taking a poke at me is not taken lightly. I do appreciate the care that you are expressing. Just take care to note that what I post is more than heartfelt as well. This song has more refenences to me than you relize. I am no longer shy about it. She composed it about a week after I ran out the door. It became her signature song. I never was the same since. Neither I suppose, was she. I think some of you need to take a step back and realize just who and what I am. Where I came from. Not your daddy's little son. I have come from places and been more places than some of you cannot see from your little points of view here on Seti. I share these things here because it it the single most point of contact there is in the whole world. There is no other like it. Trust me, I know. It takes some 30 seconds or so to post a comment about my life here. I has taken more than 40 years to get here for me. You all had best get over that time span and wake the f up. I am not preaching to you just to get attention. I don't need it anymore.... Btw, I think I was the first person in the world to hear her signature scream... She did it as I was walking.... Just let me say that I am very happy to be with you and able to share the planet today. It is an amazing thing, this life that we share. And you do realize that my time is getting short. I shall not be here in a bit. The Lord above has spoken to me, and I am going home soon. He has called, and I cannot do anything about it. The cats will have to be cared for, and I pray that somebody is gonna open the door and feed them. Lori will. One by one, the crunchers will error out and stop. They all do now and again. Time shall pass, and my stats will too. All that I now possess shall pass in the wind. I had hoped for another 10 years or so of crunching. Or the find. Not to be. Perhaps on another planet, in another plane, we shall meet again. I love you all so much. I have to go now. Goodbye, my trues of friends. She apparently likes Teresa's classic songs as much as I do, and is very good at covering them. Music.... "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |

And she did find and keep her voice. Here she is just a few months ago. Madeline Powell now. And this might be going out on a limb, but she strikes me quite like Kristen Stewart. Very similar facial features, same smile, same grace. "Time is simply the mechanism that keeps everything from happening all at once." |
