Winning after a late dinner. Worked 10 hour days yesterday & today to make up for time lost on Sunday. Short day Wednesday. Working Friday & Saturday for sure, MAYBE Thursday and Sunday! New Year's Day working?? Bah. Humbug. It's seasonal - October to February. Once the cotton gins crank up, we work long and hard, when it's done, then we relax - except for those who have other seasonal jobs - like the IRS folks. Mid-week holidays have made for a difficult schedule this year - not good for work-flow to take 3 or 4 days off at the peak of the season. Makes for tired bodies, but fat bank accounts with all the overtime..... Donald Infernal Optimist / Submariner, retired |
