Two Muslim women were ordered to leave a swimming pool in a French holiday village on the southwest coast for wearing body-covering "burkinis". To put things in context, the French have some very strict rules on swimming pool attire. My sons were thrown out of French pools because they were wearing the standard surf-shorts. We had to go and buy speedos before they would let us in the pool. Oddly enough that didn't make the headlines. Reality Internet Personality |

Are Muslims dirtier then others? Your sons were thrown out of the French pool because they didn't follow some rules. It has nothing to do with surf-shorts or speedos ... How old are your sons? What nonsense is this? |

Your sons were thrown out of the French pool because they didn't follow some rules. It has nothing to do with surf-shorts or speedos ... The rules were quite clear that you had to wear approved swimming attire. My French is not good, but from what I could understand it was something to do with hygiene. They had signs up about it and directed me to the local store to buy the correct swimwear for them. Then they were allowed in the pool. Reality Internet Personality |

Your sons were thrown out of the French pool because they didn't follow some rules. It has nothing to do with surf-shorts or speedos ... OMG. Well I haven't been to France in a while. 1969 as kid, 1970 as kid, 1973 as teenager. What f*g rules are you talking about? The ONLY rules I remember was in a "piscine": Nettoyez-vous avant de se baigner! Ne utilisez pas vos sous-vêtements! Respectez les autres! S'amuser:) Clean yourself before bathing! Dont use your underpants! Respect others! Have fun:) No Speedo? Then don't try to go swimming in some places in France — seriously!!!!!!!!!! |

The way it was explained to me is that the French think surf shorts and swimming attire like that is unhygienic because people tend to walk around in it even when they are not doing swimming pool related activities. But you don't wear speedos unless you are swimming. |

It's not like the french pools are subtle about their rules. I've been to a few and they usually have big signs up clearly illustrating what is and is not allowed, by means of symbols (ticks and crosses) so there are no issues with language barriers. Them's the rules, and at least they have a semblance of reasoning (hygiene) behind it. The story about muslim women being thrown out for wearing bhurkinis is twisting the story to suit their own agenda. (Gosh, imagine a newspaper doing that...) Life on earth is the global equivalent of not storing things in the fridge. |

Here muslim women prefer to swim without males hanging round and they can use bhurkinis if they want to. With a country with 25% voters for Marine le Pen anything can happen. |

Lots of desinformation on the Net. Looks like ITCCS is one of them who does it. For instance Republic of Kanata doesn't exist. Kevin Annett: Child Genocide Guilty Verdicts for Pope Francis, the Jesuit General, and the Archbishop of Canterbury. Republic of Kanata Announced. |

Yes, it looks like a protest group trying to draw attention to the way the Catholic Church covered up child abuse. The current Pope still hasn't done enough to deal with it. Reality Internet Personality |
