One small thing I notice, which is a little annoying is the following. If I return back to the main index page after reading one of the threads or boards, the index does not auto-update when I do so. I have to do so by means of pressing F5. If someone posted in Number Crunching while I was visiting the Cafe, is does not immediately show up when I press the BACK-button in order to return to the previous page and in the end the main index page. In comparison, PrimeGrid has such a feature built into their main index page and my suggestion is that this should be implemented here as well. Thanks! |

In comparison, PrimeGrid has such a feature built into their main index page and my suggestion is that this should be implemented here as well. Primegrid doesn't auto-refresh any of its indexes on my browser (Pale Moon 25.0.2 (x64)). It's even using older forum software, without pages in threads. A feature available since 2012. But the thing of reloading is easily solved: instead of using the back button, click e.g. the Number Crunching link top or bottom of the thread you're in (depending, that it isn't a 592 posts thread without pages and you're in the middle of it, and that you're in a thread in the Number Crunching forum). |
