Think their designers need to rethink...

So is the UK a country or not? I always wondered why you people aren't all on the same World Cup team. If you got together maybe you would get out of the Round of 16.

The Rest of the UK sounds good...

It is now getting very difficult to keep track of all the new European countries. How many are they?
Only this year it is Crimea, Novorossia, Scotland who wants a new nationality.
Maybe Euskatel 'Pays Basque' as well.
And borders of countries.
The Netherlands and Belgium in the interlocking municipalites of Baarle-Nassau and Baarle-Hertog is a tricky one.

Well, I can see Spain causing a furore if Scotland succeeds in going independent & joining the EU...

...the Basques will love it.

But the Basques are speaking a very strange language :)
Totally different to Spanish and French.

But would not the Scots feel alone if they left the UK.
Though I have an idea.
They would be able to become a part of Scandinavia, together with Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Estonia.

The Basques speak one of the Celtic languages, not far removed from Cornish. Noting strange about that.

Maybe this is a ploy by England to get a greater say in EU matters. Split officially into two or three countries, each with an equal vote.

Personally being here in the USA I say what took them so long, we did it 238 years ago.

I think it's pretty strange.

in some respect, the UK is already divided.
Just look at the World Cup football teams.
England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

GDP per head with and without Scotland 2012
UK 21,287 Pounds
UK without Scotland 21,404 Pounds
I think Scotland has a lot of oil and gas in the North Sea!
Reconsider:)

Shetland has a lot of oil and gas in the North Sea, not necessarily Scotland's. Most Shetlanders consider themselves Vikings first and their nearest railway station is in Hell.

Hell is the place where dead people suffer eternal damnation of evil deeds and evil living in the life on earth.
Perhaps you mean Hekla in Iceland or Donetsk Peoples Republic.

I would rather be more closely aligned with Britain, than The EU.

Washington and Monroe said they all suck and should be avoided.

In that case, the quicker you let Charles Lindbergh rest in peace the better.

What does Lindbergh being a Nazi have to do with anything?
