I never discuss religious beliefs in a blog. I can only say that I have met and admired both atheist scientists like Margherita Hack and believers like Paolo Maffei and Nicola Cabibbo.

Really? Then the three of you have had time to watch the debate and are ready to talk about the Miller-Urey experiment, reckon? Right?

Only a person that doesn't wish to see the repeated results would consider discussing the pro's and con's of the experiment. Even with changing the amounts of gases in the experiment they were still able to create 20+ amino acids from inorganic material and natural processes found on early earth. What more damning evidence do you want to an argument for this theory. It works and has done so, repeatedly.

That's called using the scientific method. repeatedly testing a hypothesis and getting the same results everytime kinda confirms it. Barring evidence to the contrry, having a discussion about the findings that have yet to be refutted or scietifically challenged seems like swimming upstream

I don't have time for illogical prattle. purplefish apprently, has these types of ad hoc discussions that conveniently ignore science and logic and hammer away at just proud they are to be scientifically ignorant but wholey enjoying their state.

reminds me of The Three Stooges country of Moronica.
